My Mum took this tonight at our local pub. My brother, mother and I had tonight popped in for a drink after work and ended up getting carried away and stayed till closing. Towards last orders, while we were waiting for a quiz answers to be counted (we came 6th!) I picked up the paper and started to read the sports before raising my glance to see my family’s face. It was at this point that I threw the rag down and decided we should go soon! I paid the tab and off we trotted. I’ve since bathed in bleach and I think the stink has come off but urggghhh.
Anyway, got me thinking – we should have a flickr Mailwatch group. So here it is. Please post your Daily Mail (or other rag) pics.

One thing that really gets my goat is in supermarket reastaurants like in Sainsbury’s and Tesco, you can only get right-wing newspapers. You cannot get a copy of the Independenet or the Guardian for love nor money (execpt if you ahve to but it yourself).

To be fair, I have no problem buying the Guardian at my local Sainsburys Local.
Yeah I’ve never had any problems buying any papers at supermarkets. It narks me when WH Smith give away free copies of the Express though – they should offer an equivalent newspaper for people who don’t have the mentality of chimps.
Sorry, that was harsh on chimps.
I’d do it, it’s a good idea – but buying a copy of the Mail fills me with more shame than buying porn mags when I was 13.
those papers are given away because thats what they are worth
