    Weather non-story. Check.
    Anti Prescott story. Check.
    Picture of totty. Check.
A “How Dirty Des has gained lots of money” story. Check.

But where are Diana, house prices, the free shit and some racist bile? No room for them?

Doing the newspapers roundup this morning, Sarah Kennedy described the Express as ‘always ploughing its own unique furrow’. What a polite way to say that it’s full of crap.

I thought “money for old dope” was something about buying cannabis that’s past its sell-by date.

  4. To Tax and Please

    No news then…

  5. Lisa

Weather! Tits! Nu Labour! Get it here, today, in the world’s greatest newspaper.

  6. Jude

“Sarah Kennedy described the Express as ‘always ploughing its own unique furrow’”.

    Hahahaha!!

My mind is incapable of dealing with the concept of heat in temperature terms. What foreign country will Britain be hotter than on bank holiday Monday?

By God I hope we end up hotter than Russia.

  8. Ed

Maybe they’ll start telling us the time soon,
    6 hours ahead of Mexico!

But it not going to be a sizzler. It’s going to Rain Sunday PM and Monday AM and Monday will be cooler and not hot. Not only is it a non news story , its an incorrect non news story

  10. Chris

Thank God for the Express, I wouldn’t know what it’s like outside otherwise

  11. Jon

Like the subtle plug for the Richard Desmond-owned OK! magazine, there.

  12. Paul

It’s a £10 million case alright. OK awarded £1M damages and will have to foot half the costs £5M+

  13. Stuart

‘It will be very hot next Monday’ is currently the most important news in the country?

The self-pronounced World’s Greatest Newspaper continues to mine boldly and deeply for those front page sensations.

I took the rash decision to look at the ’sizzler’ article online and found that the whole (non)story explains how chaotic the roads will be because of the sizzling temperatures so Stay In Your Homes Middle England and then how it will affect flights especially with the chaos caused by the bombers ( a reference to scare us further shoe horned in there). All illustrated with a photo of girls in bikinis.
But the best is saved until last. Someone has written in to point out that the weather will be showery for most of the weekend so its not going to be sizzling after all. Thus negating the whole headline.

I have a theory as to why the Express always has weather stories. As their readers are so right wing and they believe the BBC to have a massive liberal bias, they probably dont trust the weather forcast from the BBC because it is biased to present a pro-Labour and encourage political correctness gone mad. I can just picture Littlejohn after being told that bank holiday weekend will be rainy loudly proclaiming, “you couldnt make it up!” Therefore the Express recons it can sell a few more papers to racist cunts by presenting the “conservative weather forcast” to counter the NuLabour spin forcast.

Prescott is a stupid useless twat and doesn’t deserve a single penny of our money yet the fat bastard will swan off into the sunset with a huge pension and probably a seat in the Lords to help his income. Socialist? Member for the hypocracy party more like. Wanker.

I just read my parents’ copy; the OK!/Hello article is nauseating, it has a picture of the owner of Hello captioned ‘LOSER’ and a picture of a grinning Richard Desmond captioned ‘WINNER’.

Just checked the weather forecast for my area on weekend & Monday.

    Today’s Weather
Any early patchy cloud will readily clear to leave another dry and sunny day. Once again it will be warm for the time of year.

Wind: A moderate to fresh north-easterly breeze.

    Max temp 17 to 19C (63 to 66F)

    Tonight’s Weather
It will stay dry once again, but there is likely to be a fair amount of low cloud arriving later in the night.

Wind: A light to moderate north-easterly wind.

    Min temp 7 to 9C (45 to 48F)

    Tomorrow’s Weather
Another dry day, with patchy low cloud at first slowly clearing to leave a good deal of sunshine in the afternoon.

    Wind: A moderate north-easterly wind.

    Max temp 17 to 19C (63 to 66F)

    Tomorrow Night’s Weather
A dry night, with early clear spells soon giving way to low cloud and mist spreading in from the east.

    Wind: A moderate north-easterly breeze.

    Min temp 6 to 8C (43 to 46F)

General Outlook for the next few days
On Saturday, it will be dry and bright with sunny spells. Staying warm. On Sunday, there will be a change to the weather, as patchy rain in the morning slowy clears. Cooler.

    So much for a sizzler!

Bank Holiday Monday in Sheffield and yep – it’s cold and raining.

  20. Dave

Is Catherine Zeta-Jones the ‘Bank Holiday Sizzler’?
