Look at that main photo – chaotic indeed for that young child, who has gone out sleding without the sledge. And I know snow in April is unusual but no need to slash your wrists, it’s already melted.

Putting myself firmly in pedants’ corner: should it be “weathermen” rather than “weather men”? Or are these the men who control rather than forecast the weather?

  2. NJH

To up the pedantry, should we not call them “weather-people”?

Could that be Maddie in that picture? :o

  3. hel

it snowed a lot where i am but it was hardly “chaos”!

  4. Moggie

I’m slightly disturbed by the thought of fashion photos of Express readers.

  5. NJH

I think the rules of the competition state that to have your picture published in the Express you have to be at least two of blonde, female or dead.

  6. Captain Jesus

There’s several millimetres of snow here, people! Close the roads, hide the children and begin stockpiling value-brand baked beans. The Chaos! Oh sweet Lord, the chaos!

And (unsurprisingly) there’s more to come (if you live in Finland).

  7. Rupert

Arctic?? Which Arctic would that be? The tropical one?

  8. Dai

Free crap, weather, headline (and possibly story) nicked from the Sun: are the Express hacks still on strike?

  9. OriginalKeith

If we could show that the snow drifted over from Poland then the Express could start a campaign to ban it.

Well, snow this late in the year is unusual, but hardly unheard of. When I was a kid, my mum took a photo of me playing in the snow in the garden, and wrote the date on the back – April 11th, 1978. So…nothing that unusual really. And there was no chaos where I lived, just loads of people mucking about and having fun. It was a Sunday morning, when no-one was travelling to work, and by mid-afternoon it was gone.

    No problem.

  11. Joe

was this headline written before the snow even came, because where I was the chaos meter was at 0.00

no chaos? i ordered a pizza last night, and it took 45 MINUTES to get here! 45! the guy on the phone said 30! if that’s not chaos i don’t know what is.

I refer the honourable readers to the comment I gave previously (it’s point 9):

Seems like the DE strike is in full progress…

No news, so let’s look out the window, it’s snowing?

    HEADLINE!

  15. aljardi

Is the Fashion photo “strumpet” shown typical of DE readers?? It’s not typical of the bovine morons I’ve seen brandishing copies of it, thats for sure!

The 7th April was an important day for the Diana inquest, Maddie quizes & Shannons mum. It shows that in todays fast moving news world, papers like the Express are becoming irrelevant.

  17. Mr Mordon

    ‘Moggie Says:

I’m slightly disturbed by the thought of fashion photos of Express readers.’

    Ann Widdi in a Swimsuit??

  18. Moggie

Are you unclear on the meaning of “slightly”?

  19. Sarah

If I wanted a Weather report, I’d watch the Weather when its on TV.

  20. Dan

In leiu of today’s frontpage, has anyone seen it? It says “Diana WAS unlawfully killed”. Yes, by drunk driving and the paperazzi. Not by MI6. Are they going to keep dragging this story on forever?
