Not much to say about this, other than truly tragic.
On the other hand, Littlejohn’s column today is utter shite. I left a comment on the DM website congratulating him on his kindergarten level humour. Needless to say, it didn’t get shown.
i guess the father must have given permission, it is slightly odd that the story is getting quite this much press attention, as it’s by no means the first case of its kind. though i suppose its just a matter of timing and how much information (especially pictures) have been avaliable to the papers.
i do wonder how long the mail commenters can hold off from making remarks about the fathers religion…
I was going to say that it was quite odd that the Mail should run with this, given that at the parents are Muslim (the mother a white convert, no less) and the kid is called Aya, a word in the Koran for ‘miracle’.
Then, I saw one comment stating “GOD bless you both” (emphasis theirs) and all was well in the world!
They could be getting all this attention because they are/were Daily Mail readers, not some socialist liberal McBroon loving scum.
But on the story, you can’t really criticize today’s Mail because it is a truely tragic and for once, sensible story. At least it’s better then the rubbish on the Express today!
Jeremy Clarkson is only hilarious in comparison to Richard Littlejohn. By normal standards he isn’t particularly funny, though we will occasionally say something that makes me grin, sometimes even intentionally.
Not much I can say about the main story here, it’s sad obviously, but at least the Mail haven’t said a load of stuff about “unnatural practices” or something. I find it quite ironic that a DVD titled Sense and Sensibility is being given away by the Mail though

So the situation in the Middle East is of no concern to the Mail.
That baby looks a bit sinister. Look at those little teeth, the hateful eyes…
Wouldn’t you be pissed off to be whipped out 15 weeks early and told you couldn’t even expect a hug from your mum?
Did the mother give permission for this story to be widely publicised posthumously?

Very sad story, if just a little bit morbid

Littlejohn is a stupid person Jeremy Clarkson. Clarkson is hilarious, LittleJohn is not.
Anyone read the Mails story about the Indian guy the Royals call “sooty?” It’s the most hilarious piece of Journalism ever. So what?
