How much? I’ve got a kids cricket match to organise.

  2. Sarah

Why are they splitting up? Do I have to care?

The Mail are all over the Gaza thing. I’m still not sure whether I think the BBC is right or wrong on this.

But the Mail wrote this article about BBC bias
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1127437/DAILY-MAIL-COMMENT-Gaza-bias-BBC.html

Like the Mail can lecture anybody on Bias! The newspaper that is conservative on abortion, migration, minority rights and religion and says Mel Philips, “alternative lifestyles”

Psst, I think she’s talking about the gays!

Oh yeah, Lol as they try to get Johnathan Ross sacked.

  3. aljardi

Is Madonna renting out her daughter?

Royal nobodys split up – interested? – no.

I swear. I hate this “paper” with an ever growing passion.

As for Ross. I really do not care for him at all. However, I would rather he presented every programme on the television and did so with a volley of expletives, than allow the Daily Mail to become the moral guardians of who and what we should all deem as acceptable viewing.

The Daily Mail lauded Bernard Manning, a man who managed to insult large sections of society every time he opened his foul mouth, as a comic genius when he died. Hypocrisy? I think so.

If these people/ Mail readers, who consider the zenith of comedy to be Compo trundling down a hillside in a bathtub for the millionth time, dont like Ross, why don’t they watch one of their massive collection of free DVD’s instead and stop trying to tell everyone else what they can and cannot watch.

The Daily Mail do not speak for the majority. They speak for a loud and very irritating minority. The BBC is a corporation we should be proud of, and not something that the likes of the Daily Mail should be allowed to try and destroy.

Why are the police enquiring about hiring Lords? What are they going to use them for? We should be told NOW

  5. MatthewS

Love the Daily Mail “the BBC already broadcasted the highly politicised make poverty history campaign.” How can they find make poverty history controversial? Maybe they think the BBC should have also ran a make poverty worse campaign to balance things out!

  6. Steve

The Mail could add ‘the disturbing truth’ at the start of every headline they run and still make the desired point.

  7. Original Paul

The disturbing truth about the pill is thay have bigged it up and been rumbled.

  8. Raspberry

You will find that Mail readers ARE the silent MAJORITY! It is always the first newspaper to sell out in my area.

  9. Mail Man

I think I’ll await the outcome of the various investigations before I trust the DM (or any other tory rag) to tell me the truth about any scandel connected to this Gov.

  10. Sarah

It’s true guys. The Lords are taking money to help change laws.

  11. Steven

Sky have decided not to broadcast the DEC appeal. Where’s the protesters there? There aren’t any, because the increasingly populist government can’t bully a commercial broadcaster so nobody else dares speak up against an organisation that can shout back.

The BBC is simply the country’s favourite punching bag for armchair protesters and opportunistic journalists and politicians..

  12. Sam

I can understand the BBC’s decision not to broadcast on the grounds of impartiality, but an impartial SKY? hahaha, are we talking about the same impartial Murdoch/Fox News/The Sun/Sky News group…?

  13. Steven

Yup, Sky are only doing this for their own interests. By standing shoulder to shoulder with the BBC, they’re trying to make people think they care about such things as impartiality and raise their standing among the public as a news organisation.

Not related to the front page, but one of the comments on an online DM article (about a guy who took speeding fines for other people) is a belter:

“Far less of a crime than the bankers are guilty of but of course hes not a buddy of Kim Jong Broon”

Kim Jong Broon? Laugh, I almost did. Also note that Michael is, let’s assume, a filthy foreign immigrant (to Spain).

  15. Shan

that diet pill sounds dodgy..and so cheap? what about the side affects? At first I thought..wow..but then..how can it work? I’ll just keep doing what I do..the boring slow and old fashioned way…

  16. Rob

Is that the same pill that was advertised in the express a couple of days ago?

  17. Kiz

“Kim Jong Broon? Laugh, I almost did. Also note that Michael is, let’s assume, a filthy foreign immigrant (to Spain).”

Couldn’t agree more. He’s a fine one to bash this country when he’s a filthy DM migrant to Spain. Can we run a few headlines about how him and his mates commit ALL crimes in Spain, don’t bother to integrate or learn to speak Spanish and steal all jobs from indigenous Spanish people. As for Kim Jong Broon, they are getting more pathetic and idiotic by the day. What’s it going to be next, Saddam Chavez Castro Pinochet Stalin McBroon?

Aljardi, I also couldn’t agree more. I’m hating this rag more and more everyday too. 2 million people may read it, but at least 58 million sensible people get what we’re saying.

  18. Raspberry

Why my comment is awaiting moderation I do not know. No obscene words. Perhaps capitals-what a hanging offence. To reiterate. The Mail is probably bought by the silent majority as it is always the first newspaper to be sold out in my area

  19. pope

lmao that they’re going against the express over the pill thing. Good luck to both of them!

  20. Kiz

“lmao that they’re going against the express over the pill thing. Good luck to both of them!”

I thought the Mail and Express were against the pill? :)

  21. MatthewS

Kiz: dont be silly we all know Pinochet was a great hero, Thatcher would never be friends with a murdering dictator after all.

  22. Minneythekid

Silent majority? Who are the loud majority then if not mail readers? If they are always sold out, maybe your area is as posh and fucked up in the head as mine!

    Steven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. Stevie H

    Just coming…

  24. aljardi

Just because the DM sells well, it doesn’t mean it’s any good.

Phil Collins records sell well, and they are crap. Case closed.

  25. daveyp.

The DM doesn’t ONLY print bad news. In this edition there was a rather heartening report about erectile dysfunction (an important issue for many men). Apparently, a medical study in Australia has cast doubt on the ‘brewer’s droop’ notion. It found that teetotallers were MORE likely to have erectile dysfunction than drinkers, even heavy drinkers! Moderate drinkers it seems have nothing to worry about. Now come on, admit it, there must be at least SOME of you who will be cheered up by these findings.
