Thought they were describing Jackson for a minute. As for these figures I haven’t seen any official announcement on some figures.
Teen Robberies sound really bad until you realise that it’s usually Teenagers who are the victims of these crimes, and the rise in teenager ownership under consumer power is probably about 90% the reason for it.
As for Violence….I thought figures for violence is down, but it’s such a broad term and drug crime, well drug crime could mean having drugs on you? Actually more than ever it will mean having drugs for personal consumption upon you, due to tougher sentances and classification against Advisors knowledge and WHY because of the Mail and types like them.
Oh and I’m not saying Teen robbieres aren’t awful, I’m just saying massage the words anyway you like it to make it look bad.

Pointed out by a photoshopping associate in today’s issue; the Daily Mail are notorious for nicking stuff ‘found’ on the internet, and today they’ve slapped a meaningless ‘copyright twitter’ notice on a picture:

But copyright does not belong to Twitter, nor should anybody think it’s likely to, as every social-media provider has a big clause like this in its T&C, and Twitter is no exception:

There’s also a side issue about whether or not this image was designed to reference a recent knife crime, but such intentions are very hard to prove either way.
It’s also feasible that The Daily Mail aren’t lying here, but instead being so ignorant as to beggar belief.

This headline is typical DM stuff. It’s probably no where near as bad as they are saying (I too thought that violence figures were down) and can only be being used to stike yet more fear into it’s already fear sodden readership.

Wehay. After many attempts I’ve finally got past the moderators on Littlejohn’s column. Mind you I had to come up with the above syccophancy. Surprised they didn’t notice it was just a touch tongue-in-cheek.
I always think most of the bum-licking Littlejohn comments are spoofs… well i HOPE they are or there are some sick people out there.

Taking (legally prescribed) drugs for decades might not be a great idea for everyone.
I wonder why they’re going to do a compare and contrast story on annual deaths for all the legally prescribed drugs and the illegal type?
The answers (on the few examples I know of) do not make great reading for the foaming at the mouth puritan hypocrite types.

Street robberies and stabbings would be very low in this country if Enoch Powell had been listened to back in the 60’s and 70’s. Liberal immigation policy has been the main driver of crime in modern Britain. I don’t hate the blacks, with whom we all share a common humanity, but even so, I think the idea that ‘we’re all the same under the skin’ is just a liberal myth. Scientists say that our ancestors took leave of our African cousins some 50.000 years ago. Is it so unreasonable of me to suspect that 2000 generations of separate evolution have made a huge difference not just in terms of appearance but psychologically also?
Professor Steve Jones, the noted geneticist, has said that because of immigration trends blacks will become the predominant element in humanity, world negrification in other words. My belief is that this would mean the end of civilisation and the regression of humankind to a far more elemental level. Maybe though human history is not linear but circular and the divine plan is that we shall ultimately return to our primitive origins. Perhaps in a million years time men will not be in spaceships exploring the galaxies, as science fiction writers tend to imagine, but back in the treetops, moving from branch to branch.
In the first paragraph you claim: ‘I don’t hate blacks’, then instantly manage to flatly contadict yourself by talking about the ‘regression of mankind’, comparing black people to monkeys and that their spread would somehow result in us eventually going back to being primitive tree-swingers. So you’re a hypocrite.
You also seem to have failed to have noticed that a black man just became one of the most powerful men on Earth by being charming, intelligent, thoughtful, modern in his thinking, having a supreme grasp of technology and its ability to connect to the wider world, by having had the foresight before his presidency to see what would happen in Iraq where a lot of white men didn’t, and by generally being a pleasant, smart and intelligent man.
You then go on to quote geneticists and scientific theory that contradict Creationism, despite having espoused Creationism in the past. Newsflash: if you claim something as false one minute then use it as evidence the next, it generally means you’re corrupt enough to compromise or even lie about your core beliefs whenever it suits you.
So you’re racist, a hypocrite, willingly delusional in the face of reality, unable to form consistent viewpoints, and willing to completely flip-flop on your core beliefs. Forgive me then if I take your words with a pinch of salt.

Fruitbat, DaveyP also dismissed science out of had a few weeks back. He is a hypocrite, he is a racist but he is, above all, an idiot, plain and simple. He is best ignored since he is either a wind up merchant or so detached from the reality of the world around us that you can not logically argue with him.

Fruitbat et al……I have been shocked and saddened by the attacks launched on me by other contributors. So much anger on display. This site is all about free speech and feisty debate. Most of my comments would never get through the DM censorship screen. I am not a wind-up merchant or any kind of agent provocateur, simply someone who seeks to frankly address sensitive issues.
Am I a racist? Well yes, in that I think race to be a significant factor in human affairs. Well no, in that i believe each and every race to have arisen through divine decree. And have I ever denied evolution? Only insofar as it refuses to concede that there might be a spiritual dimension to human life. Am I an enemy of science? While there is a single animal suffering in a single laboratory then I have no choice.
As long as I am permitted to make comments on this site then I shall continue to address difficult issues. But although I am sometimes at odds with other contributors I share your commitment to free speech and a world based on humane values. Of course I am a sinner! All that I ask is that you leave judgements about my moral character to Him who is the Judge of all souls. After all, who amongst you is free from sin?
