According to the BBC radio news and the Guardian, Gerry Adams has condemmed the killings as “wrong and counter-productive”.

    So that’s all right.

  2. Steve

The only daily puzzle pull-out in any national newspaper?? Whoop-di-fucking-doo. How about some accurate reporting instead Dacre???

  3. Nick

Interestingly the article on the terrible side effects of the ‘Promiscuity Jab’, as they like to call it, completely fails to make any mention of a prominant celebrity currently dying of the condition it prevents.

While there have been about 1400 side effects reported out of 700,000 jabs, the bulk of these are inflamation around the injection point rather than anything to the vaccine. About 0.001% of ‘real’ reactions as far as I could tell.

Who’s side am I on? Frankly, I’m coming down quite heavily on the side of failing to give a fuck.
Hurrah for the Mail associating a tiny, unrepresentative bunch of hard core loonies with the IRA, BTW.

Gerry Adams has condemned the killers, albeit in a rather vauge and cold manner. He’s scared shitless these guys are going to loose Sinn Fein a couple of seats in the election. But that shouldn’t stop the workings of the Assembly.

The Daily Mail can go screw themselves as far as this coverage is concerned. They were upset that Obama was going to greet Martin McGuiness (forgetting that he’s the bloody deputy first minister) they got someone to write that now the UK is the laughing stock of the world as this shows that they haven’t stopped terrorism in NI (hardly forgetting to mention that these guys are small, have little backing and don’t have the military capability, thanks to the British and Irish governments) The same person wrote how the paramilitaries have control of local areas (very true) but failed to mention how the Mail gave the paramilitaries full front page coverage when they tarred and feathered a drug dealer which was apparently “justice”

I AM ASHAMED – I managed to get a comment posted on Mad Mel’s page and it is getting lots of green ticks.

Red has been my aim forever.

  7. DBC

If they are not careful, the Mail could start yet another health scar over the cervical cancer jab, just as they did over the MMR injections. This led to a steep rise in cases of measles..

  8. Nick

I’m fairly sure they want to create another health scare.

I wonder if Max Clifford would allow the NHS to run with an advert like:

“Want your daughter to turn out like Jade Goodey? Make sure she doesn’t get the HPV jab”

  9. Nick

PS, Merk, I think your clock’s wrong. This is 13:51 by my watch.

Tony, I’ve managed to garner 459 red arrows today!!!

See if you can spot my comment!

  11. Original Paul

The way the Mail report the news is a puzzle to most of us.

  12. DBC

I see that among the comments highlighted by aljardi there is one from a British immigrant (sorry Expat) in Spain and another one from The Netherlands. They just don’t get the irony do they?

  13. aljardi

DBC, I actually posted another comment about how remarkable it is that immigrants (…oops, silly me, ex-pats) to Spain feel they can comment negatively about free movemnent within the EU and actually have the damn nerve to call for it to be abolished.

Needless to say, it didn’t get past the mods!

    What terrorism before 2001 well I never….

Adams is also concerned with expressing anything that might whip up tensions and calls of traitor, if this derails the peace process it’ll be the least of our worries that Adams condoned it or not.

As for the whose side are you on? Techinally having read the full story in the Indie and other pieces the lad seemed to have turned his life around and was going forward, this has basically put his life in the public domain probably damaging him slighty.

I think she is foolish, I think she is a bad parent, she is no better than the lot that go on J Kyle and at least some of them have the dignity to argue the rights and wrongs, she’s just released a frothing at the mouth, all drugs are bad crapfest and is going make alot of money out of it…. I hope she can sleep at night.

  15. matt hurst

Oh and he’s not in the grip of a cannabis addiction, he’s taking drugs and drinking OH SHOCK HORROR TEENAGE LIFE. Who remembers Euan Blair?

Actually who wasn’t on Opium in the 1800’s anyhow? As for Douglas HAR HAR isn’t that a bit too discriminating on grounds of age….Something the Mail usually campaigns against.

    It’s all hypocrites and Bullshit.

  16. Goodbyemrsaddam

Well down Daily Mail on trying to stir up some fear mongering. Return of the IRA? FFS! Get a grip you right wing tossers.

Firstly, it’s not “THE” IRA that killed these poor blokes, but the smaller and less supported Real IRA, who have little support in my country. Secondly, Adams as far as I know has quite rightly condemned these killings. So there….another lie by the Mail.

  17. Mr Mordon

IRA = Irrational Racist Arseholes, ‘real’ or otherwise.

  18. Josh

I wish I was on the mothers side she’s a bit of a MILF, other than that more crap and scaremongering as per usual
