JSA is the final safety net for people who aren’t entitled to anything else.
If you are denied even that you either work, live off savings, or starve to death: considering they’re being held under house arrest without being convicted of any crime, what are the poor bastards supposed to do?
@Tom… I agree with your basic points and of course these ‘terror suspects’ should be able to receive any state benefits that they are legally entitled to, but I cannot have much sympathy with them as individuals. Presumably even if they are not terrorists they are all hard-line Muslims. The kind of society that they would create would be a horrible one, far worse than anything that even Richard Littlejohn would bring about. Personally I wish that these people had never been allowed to come and live in Britain to begin with. So yes, let them have their JSA, meagre pittance that it is, but please, don’t ask me to have much sympathy with them as individuals.
They’re suspects. Nobody has proved they’ve done anything wrong yet.. and for some of them never will.
If we forget things like innocent until proven guilty we will bring about a society ‘far worse than anything that even Richard Littlejohn would bring about’ without any help from hard line muslims.
Anyway, what’s wrong with being hard line, provided you don’t actually break any laws? Have we started convicting people of having dangerous thoughs now? Should we start arresting and deporting all the hard line christians too?
Headline doesn’t make sense. Work experience kid on drugs last night was s/he?
NO THEY FUCKING DON’T
textbook express frontpage:
illegible headline, requires commas?
win a shit car!
free shite
LOOKIT A SEXY GIRL with a tenuous link to something about royalty? maybe?
Kids can also go free to Museums courtesy of this Labour government, but thats like learning and they may learn not to read this shite.
Judging by the readership mind, I think alot of people are learning not to read this shite, you do wonder what damage 500 weeks of Diana did.
*Face Palm!*
All the usual non-news that one comes to expect.
A Fiat Panda!? Wow we are being spoiled…………
Whats the ‘basis’ (i use the term lightly) for this headline people??
OMG is it a WHITE Fiat Panda?
It looks white but I don’t think it’s ‘the’ white Fiat Panda, knowing the Express though it’s probably a left hand drive model.
And it was a Fiat UNO wasn’t it anyway?
In a family not known for exactly widening the gene pool, Harry starts seeing another redhead.

Could they not be British born?
I’ve not read the story but those 7/7 bombers were all born in Britain.

Tony is quite correct.
An easy guide to Mail-speak/Express-speak:
Rape suspects – clearly innocent, been stitched up by a woman who was probably drunk and asking for it anyway
Terrorist suspects – clearly guilty, don’t even need to bother with antiquated notions such as ‘trials’
