I thought that there were to be no celebrations honouring the fallen at D-Day ever again and this was a shocking scandel, worse even than getting your moat cleaned.
I believe that the cartoonist responsible is a fellow called Gary. He’s worked for The Times, and when the mood takes him he can draw pretty good likenesses with just a few simple shapes. His effort today, however, is poor by his standards.
Well just over 200 years ago the French realised that the royals were a waste of time and got rid of theirs. And besides, Phil’s probably insulted them at some point down the years.
More completely manufactured outrage. Since when was a 65th anniversary a big occasion?? ‘McBroon’ could force us all to commemorate D Day every second and the Heil would stil find something to moan about. Any (pathetic) excuse to have a go at Brown and of course ‘The French’
Hooray for Sarkozy is what I say.
Er… This is the story that out of all the news today they chose to make the front page head-line? I mean, it’s not Watergate is it?
Who is the cartoonist who does that dreadful 50s inspired illustration featured top right?

At least they’re having a go at the torys for a change

I wasn’t invited either.
Yeah Gordon get it sorted you twat……….
I’m guessing Sarkozy is sorting it, so I guess in France and why should he invite the queen and how can Gordon act.
Apolgies for the use of the word T**T, it’s pretty much what they would like to say.
According to The Times the palace isn’t furious at all.

Perhaps Nick Griffin can represent the Queen.
Gebus H
Any old sh*t will do.
‘Perhaps Nick Griffin can represent the Queen.”
I would of thought he wanted the other side to win.
