Of course that part of our history is conveniently forgotten in the offensive and ignorant racist/sectarian cr@p the likes of daveyp and the BNP prefer to propagate. The fact is that the world's most 'colonising' people are a hell of a lot closer to home - and it's not the Muslims or any of the immigrant ethnic groups here in the UK today. daveyp, you ought to have done with it and pi$$ off to 'Der Sturmer' or where-ever the BNP and their ilk hang out, you can take each other seriously & wind each other up with your stupid ludicrous tales of 'how the UK is lost to the foreigners'.
