I forced myself to read the **** and discovered that the 60% on full benefit entitlement referred to HOUSING ASSOCIATION tenants, not Council House tenants. There is a lame comment along the lines of "and the same may apply to council house tenants". They also use a very odd word in linking the story to the Shameless tv programme, along the lines of "council house tenants as typified by the characters in Shameless". Er, I don't think Shameless is meant to represent typical council tenants. So, a load of steaming XXXX basically. It’s actually an even worse story that it seems.
