I don’t know, but theres something rather unpleasant about that headline

  2. Charlie

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely quaking in my boots.

  3. ms morbo

i wondering if it’ll leave the nations econemy in tatters just like the boycott on french products did 8 years ago.

    …no hang on.

  4. banutzu

fucking hypocrites. as if america would never place their economic wellbeing above moral issues. if this is tied to a trade deal with libya then it’s disgusting but not as cringeworthy as the yanks lecturing us on morality.

  5. Daniel Hoffmann-Gill

    Made up story.

    Utter bollocks.

Firstly it was supposed to be a boycott of scottiish goods, not british.. but let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good headline.

Secondly, it’s not going to have any affect at all, because hardly anyone is going to do it.

  7. Paul United Kingdom

All I can find about the boycott is one whiney website. And if you do encounter any Americans who go on about the release Al Megrahi, just mention William Calley

  8. larry

for fucks sake..its sounds as if we helped blow that plane up …what utter nonsense..

  9. Jswindle

Shit, a few crazies are goin to stop drinking proper scotch because a plane fell of Scotland. I for one will only be drinking ‘liberty liquor’ from now on.

  10. NJH

Of course, since 2001, the USA has boycotted all products from Muslim countries, especially that strange black liquid they have.

    /sarcasm

Miss Christie is a little careless then isn’t she.

    Bread and Circuses

When is the Mail going to start boycotting British goods?

Also, if you want terrorism, try Iran Air Flight 655, which the Americans shot out of the sky, killing 270 people. Okay, the Yanks did pay compensation for the incident ($62m) however they’re in no position to lecture us about morals.

  13. Alex

Is this like when Bill O’Reilly decided to go on a one man boycott of French produce?

Oh, and the Ashes aren’t “coming home”, the urn is continually held in England.

  14. Original Paul

It is a media shit storm & that is all.

the mails intrepid reporters today ran a story about the hooliganism at the westham/millwall match inferring that they had inside imformation that last month people were discussing the forthcoming fixture this is bizzare since the draw for the 2nd round wasn’t made till 12th august.
