Shouldn’t they have “May require installation of a new television aerial. Service not available in all areas. TV channels are mostly terrible (except the ones from the evil BBC).” and similar warnings next to the freeview offer? I wouldn’t want to see them get in trouble with Trading Standards/the ASA.
You have to collect 60 tokens for that set top box. How much is the Mail? 50p? So that’s £30 then. Not free. I think that’s roughly what one of those boxes costs anyway. Possibly slightly less.
Maybe they’re banking on their readers getting bored of collecting that many tokens and giving up.
Those damn evil unions!
Oh dear those poor families and firms, at least it doesnt affect singletons, and minorities
Ah the ‘minimum pain’ of missing a day’s pay. I’m sure all Mail journalists would happily do that.
Should I know who either of those women are?
ONly familes get letters??
Indeed they did. That’s why you shouldn’t f*ck with the workers in such an integral industry.
They now have to put their hands up to go to the toilet for christ’s sake. That should be feckin illegal.
Evidently during the week the digibox can only receive half as many TV stations as it can at the weekend.
Although “more than 50 channels PLUS digital radio” is still straining the truth a bit.
‘They now have to put their hands up to go to the toilet for christ’s sake. That should be feckin illegal.’
Seriously!?
Can anyone possibly explain why we don’t get photos of Len Goodman and Louis Walsh on the front page? I’m very confused.
Well one is a presenter and one is a judge, so yeah techinally Len Goodman or Dermot O Leary……..Or even Brucie (Does he present it anymore?)
As for the strike, I’m glad I am not affected.
Do they really have to explain Freeview boxes to their readers? Yes, I suppose they do.

And the Mail doens’t give a damm about the jobs that will be lost if the Post Office goes private?
But the 20m figure comes from the unions doesn’t it? So what’s the Mail doing printing marxist propoganda?
