It’s getting the stage that I don’t even need to research the facts behind the stories in the Express (and very often the Mail). Nine times out of ten, the headlines do not reflect what has actually happened.
Does anyone get the feeling that they keep these stories locked away for special occasions, such as when the Government does something that may make them popular or the PM makes a decent speech?
Loren v Bardot. Bardot looks like an old woman, actually she is and old woman shock horror. Loren looks like some sort of alien she has has so much plastic surgery.
Surely the headline should read: “One French Mayor Expresses the Opinion to a British Journalist that Britain Should Share the Load of Caring for Migrants, Many of Whom are Legitimate Refugees.”
Yawn!

Hmm, not quite…

France (possibly) tells Britain.
Britain says no.
Non-story ensues.
Once again, the BNP rub their filthy hands with glee over Express scare-mongering. Nice.

Catchy, no? I could’ve worked for the Guardian…
£57 pound a day………Just what we need a inflated housing boom……
Aren’t we ‘full’ already according to this same rag last week?
Great house price news though eh!
Coupling a story about being overrun by french migrants and a picture of a “tres Hot” Bardot.
Surely this isn;t the sort of message the Express wishes to promulgate. Methinks the editor’s lunch may have been light on solid content.
