Today’s Daily Fail has an article on the Jan Moir saga. Although it offer no apology, continues to perpetuate that there are still unanswered questions with regards to his death (looks Stephen Gately may be the new Diana) and that really it was just a load of reactionary poofs that took a hissy fit in response to Jan Moir’s article.
Now if a journalist at the BBC had been as crass and homophobic as Jan Moir, I wonder who would be the first to rally round a lynch mob. . .?
Interestingly though, in yesterday’s paper both Suzanne Moore and Janet-Street Porter (the Fail’s token liberals) ripped Jan Moir to pieces. So not all is lost.
The front cover might be OK, but page four has a story about Jan Moir’s pronouncements, saying “A worldwide debate over a Daily Mail article on the death of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately spread over the internet at the weekend.”
I suppose that’s one way of looking at it. The rest of the world on one side and the Daily Mail on the other.
Somehow I doubt this would have been the front page story if Johnny Foreigner had made this discovery. But British scientists…no doubt of the ‘indigenous’ variety…are leading the way, proving once again the superiority of Queen, country, and the Mail.
What’s going on? A positive headline and also a good film free on DVD.
Pigs must be flying to day!

Shouldn’t that be “New hope for IVF FAMILIES” ??
The Elephant Man DVD. Littlejohns home movies.
mail gives away classic film for once!
Can’t really complain about anything here. Positive headline, half-decent film and Hot Blonde Corner instead of Dead Blonde Corner.

Cheryl seems to be Michael Jackson in the top half, but MC Hammer in the bottom half. Perplexing.
