She’s still adding her BS on this.
I’ve read what she has to say and she’s still throwing in inuendo about drugs and making stupid claims that people dying at Gately’s age is ‘unnatural’.
It might be rare (and thankfully it is) but it is perfectly ‘natural’ for people to die at any age.
Cowardly sh!te trying to cover her ar$e as they continue to make laughable and fact-free claims that the record number of PCC complaints was an ‘orchestrated campaign’.
Same old hypocritical same old with the hateful DM.
As distasteful as NG was on QT last night he was given enough rope and hanged himself pretty effectively.
He made a laughing-stock of himself and his views.
Which was nice.
The DM is a natural supporter of the BNP, it’s being allowed to make it appear that it opposes them, that is obviously window dressing. Newspapers like the DM should be forced to print in bold letters just what they stand for on the front of the paper for all to see. Many people think that they are a normal paper, like the BNP make people believe that they are a normal party but the real truth is being hidden. The paper supported Hitler, the Nazis, not many people know that. Leopards don’t change their spots.
Only the Daily Mail can turn the Griffin appearance into an attack on the BBC. It was widely regarded as a programme where Griffin was exposed as a bigot, racist, homophobic, hatemonger. In that sense, it worked. There was no legitimisation of the BNP as a political party. Griffin has more in common with the Mail than it is perhaps comfortable with. Maybe that is why it is going out of its way to proclaim its disgust at him. Look at the similarities: both hate immigrants, both hate homosexuals, both have a conspiracy theory view of the BBC as full of leftist propaganda, both have a knee jerk view of Labour or left-wing politicians. The Daily Mail readers need to know who the paper was supporting in the 1930s, and the papers links to Nazism and far-right politics. This apparent ‘disgust’ is a very thin veneer indeed.
Funny that Jan Moir and Nick Griffin are sharing a front page. Were it not for the actions of one last week, the other could have expected a much warmer reception on the front page today. But the DM has already upset its advertisers once and really doesn’t want to have to do that again.
“What I meant by ‘nothing natural’ was that the natural duration of his life had been tragically shortened in a way that was shocking and out of the ordinary,” she [Jan Moir] wrote.
What an odd headline. Every other paper is laughing at Griffin, but they say he ‘milked his moment in the spotlight’? And then turn it into an attack on the BBC.
@Marcs ” The paper supported Hitler, the Nazis, not many people know that.”
I would have thought that “Hurrah for the Blackshirts” is the one 1930s newspaper headline still to be remembered and the Mail/Rothermere admiration for Hitler is well documented. Rothermere July 1933: “I urge all British young men and women to study closely the progress of the Nazi regime in Germany. They must not be misled by the misrepresentations of its opponents. …They have started a clamorous campaign of denunciation against what they call “Nazi atrocities” which, as anyone who visits Germany quickly discovers for himself, consists merely of a few isolated acts of violence such as are inevitable among a nation half as big again as ours, but which have been generalized, multiplied and exaggerated to give the impression that Nazi rule is a bloodthirsty tyranny.”
Exactly TonyB, nice find, it should be made into publicity material stating that “this is the true Daily Mail.” That paper is like a regime that has remained continuous and unbroken since the 20s, the paper has not been de-Nazified, each successive influx of journalists has been indoctrinated by their predecessors and have become adept at hiding their true aims and objectives. Even the Zinoviev letter trying to undermine Socialism by wicked dirty tricks.
The paper should have been cleansed during the war, it’s still not too late. Everyone working on the paper should have been sacked, barred from journalism and new management, every-last-man-Harry should have been replaced.
There is a regime change needed in the British media, parties like the BNP need the oxygen of publicity, they are certainly getting it, it is essential that the mouth of the right has to be closed, papers and certain media needs to be put on the radar in the fight against Nazis.
“They have started a clamorous campaign of denunciation”
Even Rothermere was at it, obviously the anti-nazi truth was (in his eyes) just another ‘orchestrated campaign’ and therefore not worth taking seriously.
What will be truly embarassing for Nick Griffin is that he allowed himself to walk into what was obviously going to be an ambush. The BBC cunningly set him up and Griffin couldn’t really cope with it. Only one far-right figure of recent times could have coped with such an onslaught and that was the late John Tyndall. His enormous inner strength, probably of diabolic origin, would have got him through the show.
For me the defining moment was when one guy asked a perfectly reasonable question about why large numbers of immigrants are being allowed in when we have high unemployment. David Dimbleby, with a smirk on his face, said ‘Why? What?’, rebuked the man for not speaking loudly enough and then moved on to another questioner. Here was an issue where Nick Griffin could have scored some points and Dimbleby made sure that he didn’t get the chance.
For my own part I regard the nazis, the radical left and Islam as different talons on Satan’s claw. There should be a party in Britain that speaks up for the white man but I don’t think on this showing that Nick Griffin is the right man to be leading such a party.
Yes because the “white man” has had and continues to have no control over his life, infact white men are so abused in society today you hardly ever see one.
Look at the House of Commons, not a single “white man” there….. Frankly Disgusting.
Actually come off it, the fact we have programs asking if Britain is still this, this and this in the 21st century is extremely worrying. I’d agree that what you once would have called the working class need a party and only when every vote matters will you get this party. White men control everything from the fiancial markets to the overwhemling majority of power in western countries (Bar one of course, but even he is flanked my numerous white men).
I have registered with your site and regularily read what you all say but, despite registering twice, I can’t contribute to the messageboards becasue neither account has been approved by the site administrators. Perhaps they think I’m a BNP supporter in disguise.
Anyway, I thought that some of you would be interested in reading this. I was sent the link today. It is from the BNP social network and it does make a mockery of that ‘22% might vote for BNP’ bollocks that came from the Daily Telegraph today. Apologies if folks have already seen this.

YOUGOV – Let’s increase BNP’s support in polls, and raise money at the same time!.
Public Group
Description
Despite recently getting two MEPs elected our support in Yougov polls has recently dropped to 3% (just 1% in Scotland).
One of the main reasons people don’t vote for us is because they believe we are a wasted vote, and it’s online polls such as Yougov that give them this impression!
If EVERY BNP supporter joined Yougov, we could put our support on a par with the Lib Dems and possibly higher!
On top of this we could actually raise money for the Party via Yougov as you actually get paid for participating in surveys.
I have already been sent a £50 cheque by Yougov which I donated to the party.
Imagine if every BNP supporter signed up to Yougov and every few weeks, raised £50 which was donated to the party.
The party could potentially get £100,000’s per year via Yougov!!!
Also if you join Yougov via the referral link below Yougov will send me the equivalent amount in survey credit for each survey they complete during their first three months of membership. Therefore potentially DOUBLING the money raised for the party!
You can also send your referral link to your friends and family, and therefore increasing the amount you raise for the party.
I’m very close to receiving my second cheque which I would really like to donate towards the legal battle against the treacherous extremist-lefties of the CEHR.
We have a song in Northern Ireland that resonates through me whenever I see Mr Griffin, “Wanker, Wanker, Wanker, Wanker.”
What a douche. He did terrible and is now moaning about how he was picked on. The truth of the matter is that he couldn’t hold his own against the things being said against him. If you’re a Holocaust white supremacist then you can’t expect to go on TV and be given an easy ride. In saying that, I would have loved to see Griffin talk about actual issues just so the panel could also expose how crap they are.
The Mail has printed this in its comment page today:
“Before filming began, a crib sheet was handed to the audience (which, being predominantly young, metropolitan and multicultural, bore little resemblance to the demographics of the average community)”
So the Mail is now actually toeing the BNP line and getting pissed off that the audience was filled with too many er, dark and brown people.
i see great support for bnp after question time, huge own goal for you lefties, beware the sleeping giant is slowly waking up to all the eftie fascist lies.bring it on.
What is needed is more immigration, not less. also a two pronged attack by sanctioning areas which elect BNP members such as withdrawing funding for public services, housing, persuading employers to move to diverse areas, stopping government funding the BNP areas and discouraging other private investment.
I think that it should become compulsory for employers to offer any jobs that are vacant, to asians or black people only, with grants on offer as an incentive to employ illegal immigrants from Pakglahanistraq- especially ones who have criminal convictions.
In response to ally: From experience I can tell you that the number of people who say they’re going to vote BNP is wildly out of proportion to the number of people who actually do so.
…Marcs…your calls for all-out repression of those who don’t think the way you do and for mass immigration to continue, irrespective of public opinion, show that your contempt for democracy is every bit as great as that of the fascists. The population of the UK is already due to hit 70 million, mainly down to immigration. Presumably you would be happy to see it hit 140 million. If the likes of you have your way England will be one vast multi-ethnic housing estate, doubtless with a mosque in every neighbourhood. I do so hope that your dream for this country never comes to pass.
@Heather, thanks for the lead on this. It’s just beyond words:
“Update: 1515 Saturday, 24 October The document that appeared in both the Daily Mail and on its website today is not, contrary to the claim by the Daily Mail, the same document issued to members of the Question Time audience.
The version of the instructions printed in the Daily Mail has Nick Griffin’s profile first – the version issued to the audience had Jack Straw’s profile first.
There was only one instruction guide given to members of the audience and it is the same format as issued every week. The BBC instructions always begin with the panel member from the goverment – in this week’s case Jack Straw.
On the version printed in the Mail, the Nick Griffin entry has been placed over that of Mr Straw.
As a result, Mr Griffin’s entry appears twice in the version on the Mail’s website and Mr Straw not at all.”
And the Mail probably isn’t in the least embarrassed at its chicanery being exposed

Unless your post was a wind-up the idea that an area should be punished because they haven’t voted the way you want them to is actually quite frightening. Regardless of what I think of the BNP they are still a legal party and people are entitled to vote for them
There is a justification in allowing democracy not to become out of control.
Factors such as economic circumstances and incitement can lead to decisions being taken by an electorate which would not usually be taken.
During times of economic hardship people may be inclined to vote for someone who offers a quick solution without carefully considering the ramifications rather than electing someone else who offers a more realistic solution but may take many years.
The electorate is notoriously short sighted and can make the wrong decision, look at 1979. Curtailing democracy may not be a pretty solution but it is a darn sight better than picking up the pieces afterwards.
There is a phrase, the tyranny of the majority, the dangers of that far outweigh any attempt to curtail a majority from making the wrong decision and in a way it is also in their best interests also.
It is not a case of stopping people voting what I consider the wrong way but safeguarding the lives of those who will be most at risk should a system get out of control.
People can, by all means, make a democratic choice and exercise their “rights” to vote in the same way as they have a “right” to free speech. Like free speech there have to be limits on democracy, abusing those rights means that those rights are taken away, should the BNP or similar become in a position to influence the direction of this country, losing your vote would be the least of your worries.
BNP take away a lot of vote from the Tory faithfull. The better they do, they more the tories will struggle to win the northern heartlands that they need for a big majority.
It’s just saying “don’t vote BNP”. If you like their policies, vote tory
Marcs reveals the true face of the democracy hating far left.
I myself dislike General Pinochet because he overthrew a democratic government, even one I disagree with.
Democracy is the best system because the people as a whole are more likely to make better decisions than some unelected elite.
If you disagree with a democratic vote, the solution is to make better arguments and win people over to your way of thinking, something I suspect you are incapable of doing.
“Like free speech there have to be limits on democracy, abusing those rights means that those rights are taken away”
Who would be in charge of placing limits on democracy and taking away peoples democratic rights? You sir are not a democrat.
Marcs
I agree with Mail reader that the solution is to make better arguments as your idea of collectively punishing entire communities because of the way some of the electorate have voted is completely wrong.
The “truth” Jan, or just some backtracking (”What I meant was…”) to try to save your career?
Truth in this context = bullshit.
In right wing circles, the concept of ‘truth’ is simply whatever is the current most convenient lie.
She’s still adding her BS on this.
I’ve read what she has to say and she’s still throwing in inuendo about drugs and making stupid claims that people dying at Gately’s age is ‘unnatural’.

Griffin is making a complaint against the BBC. A bit like Hitler complaining about syanagogues.

What an odd headline. Every other paper is laughing at Griffin, but they say he ‘milked his moment in the spotlight’? And then turn it into an attack on the BBC.
“I don’t much care for the totty on the front today”
He might look better in thigh-length jackboots and a nice black shirt!

Young, metropolitan and multicultural? *surely* no resemblance to the population of London.. who are all clearly white middle class country dwellers.

In response to ally: From experience I can tell you that the number of people who say they’re going to vote BNP is wildly out of proportion to the number of people who actually do so.
Well said, Judge Fish.
The BNP might get about 6-10% at the next election, but not enough to gain one single seat.
Of course, a vote of 6-10% means that 90-94% of voters DON’T support the BNP and its policies, that’s the real message.
Ally, what are you going to do after the election, when the Great British population reject the BNP en masse?
