Such an obvious ’shoe in’ for the job that even The Express couldn’t get it wrong……….’The world’ greatest newspaper’(sic) indeed!

  2. Dai

    “…boss that nobody wanted”

Apart from the people that voted for him?

  3. Steve

    Serious edit fail.
There’s a Photo of an undecorative living scotswoman in “Diana Corner”.

Is Susan Boyle emperor of the European superstate?

At least they’ve positioned miracle medicine above the headline.

  4. Chas

Well the Express wanted him just so they could say they got it right.

    Hurrah for cheap carpets!

I think it should be changed to “the leader that no centre right newspaper, voter, or party wanted, as they are euro-sceptic”.

You know, euro sceptics tend not to win many votes, in parliament or in the public.

Major, Blair, Thatcher were all voted in on their euro credentials. As in, being a big part of it.

I can’t remember the last Labour PM, pre blair, and I may be wrong, but I think Thatcher beat him because of his euro scepticism.

Hague was a joke in parliament, witht he voters, for the same thing.

Not that a EU “yes” vote would neccesarily win in a referendum, but it’s pretty close.

The Mail , The Sun and Express, do a decent job in trying to prove that the majority of the country are with them, when they really aren’t. Lunatics just tend to post more messageson newspaper boards, as they have an inbuilt need to shout and bawl on subjects.

My job is largely dependent on the EU. As are many. I’m all for it. As are many.

You know, when we have an unelected, tax payer funded royal family, at the top of the “democracy” tree, I think the Express doesn’t really have much to say.

I wonder what there position would be on a Royal Family referendum?

Surely the most democractic UK system is a republic? and not a monarchy?

Surely the biggest public spending cut we could make is moving the royals from “constitutional” to merely “window dressing” and save ourselves about 20 billion every year

If the people of the UK had their choice for EU President who would they choose? Perhaps best for all of us and even them that they didn’t have a choice!

  8. Chris

    Susan Boyle!

  9. NickPheas

It’s not like the EU ‘President’ is what we normally think of as a president anyhow. It’s an apperatick’s job, chairing meetings, making sure that the agenda gets followed. It’s not like he can declare war on people.

The GBP keep voting for ‘Jordan’ at the moment Marcs!

  11. NJH

“Jordan” implies middle-eastern “Islamic fundamentalists” too much.

We could back Diana for president for when she finally gets resurrected, which can’t be long now.

  12. Marcs

Aye, the British people are more interested in Celebrity Island, lucky really because if they did transfer their voting habits to the ballot booth we would all be in trouble! :D

  13. NJH

Boyle so wants this week’s magic pill. Look at the deperation in her eyes.

  14. Mail Man

Stupid confused nonsense……as is sadly typical of the right-wing on so many subjects these days.
