The irony of all the people on here moaning about the daily mail. All media is fabricated, even the left newspapers, as it seems the majority of people who write on this blog are connected too.

It’s interesting to look at why the Mail, in particular, seems to have become the natural home of the climate change denier. You suggest it may be a comfort thing, yet the Mail traditionally likes to keep its readers good and scared with tales of floods of immigrants, house prices collapsing or our hard-earned taxes being spent on arming home-grown jihadists. So why not scare them with something real for a change? After all, possible short-term effects of even minimal sea-level rise include uninsurable houses in many areas of South and East England and, don't you just love the irony, increased migration from vulnerable areas such as Bangladesh. Scary, eh? Well it is if you're a Mail reader anyway. I also believe they are suitably adept at detaching themselves (or in this case their lifestyles) from any responsibility, for anything whatsoever, and proportioning the blame with the ‘nulabour’ government or the EU. For my money, this is an editorial stance dictated by the interests of DMGT and made all the easier by the fear and mistrust that the natural readership has of scientists, academics and ‘clever’ people in general.
