    In other news, happy christmas.

Watched a cracking sketch on TV last night. Think it was the guys who did Peep Show.

Basic premise was that there was no bad news in the world, so all the media had nothing interesting to report. They were doing the annual news “tomorrows front pages run through”.

    It was:

    “Guardian – Let’s party”

“Express – Can good times bring Diana back?”

“Telegraph – Britains happiest people on earth”

“Financial Times – Money money money”

“Daily Mail – The happiness conspiracy. Be afraid. Be very afraid”.

Hahaha, think it catches the tone of the paper superbly

Unfortunate contrast between main story and Allison Pearson splash – does nobody think about these things?

Also, why do I always think a Villa holiday would be in Birmingham?

Why nations that revere families have no right to lecture parents who execute their children…

I left this comment on the online article about the killings:

“Officers rushed to the £250,000 house in Aldershot, Hampshire, where they discovered the bloodbath.”
Reporters of such a tragic incident who see fit to look up and include the value of the property that the victims lived in are beyond contempt. What are you thinking of when you write such articles – other than that you assume your readers will immediately want to know what social class they come from? Appalling attitude.

Amazingly it was printed and got hundreds of green arrows. The subsequent update had a picture of the house with this below : “Investigation: Forensics officers emerge from the £250,000 house last night” God, these DM reporters and sub editors just get more vile all the time. Am I surprised and why do I look at this rag?

Why is it not an “honour killing” when non Asian people kill family members?

“Officers rushed to the £250,000 house…”
Perhaps DM readers need a guide price for the house so they can decide how to react,
    i.e. £250,000 = middle class = tragic
£50,000 = chavs = probably brought it on themselves
