Now let me get this straight: if I buy the Express today they will reveal to me the secret of eternal youth? Great! I can now look forward to doing all those things I regret not doing when I was a whipper snapper.

  2. Original Paul

I think the Express ought to be the last to know.

  3. Stinky

To be fair how can they generate outrage without having this information. Its tantamount to obstruction of trade for the Express.

The press, family, want to know what they have done, so they can indetify them.

That’s why they won’t say. If they say “he assaulted someone”, every person in the country who has assaulted someone over the last month, and has been put into prison for it will be under suspicion.

The tabloid press actually disgust me with the way they and try and bait “mob mentality”.

Let’s remember The Sun spent 20 years trying to track down an ex IRA member, turned informant.

Against police advice, they managed to find the poor guy (who’d been living as a model citizen since he helped the police convict 30+ IRA members), and they put him on the front page of their rag.

Within a week, the poor man had been assasinated by IRA hit squads.

As I said, they have no morals. I’d say the Sun should have taken full responsibility for that man’s death

I’d suggest his “license” withdrawl is more than likely something pretty minor.

Going back to merseyside, or something like that.

They probably can’t say anything, as it will compromise his annonymity.

I’d say, it’s probably some sort of “location” breach.

    Of course, queue tabloids saying:

“A source close to the person told us that he brutally assaulted a person, and then threatened his 3 year old son”.

    You know……..

These rags are desperate to print what they know on the story, ‘in the public interest’ of course…………..

    Update:

The Mail “claim” that he was re-arrested for a scuffle with a colleague, where they had to be seperated by their boss.

Of course, a scuffle in Daily Mail world is:

“Venables flipped, and launched himself at the unsuspecting colleague, in his minimum wage job, and had to be dragged off by his manager”.

You know. Just love the fact that they feel the need to highlight that he works in a “mimimum wage job”. Just to resonate with their readers that this man is a no good “thug” and blight on our fair society!

  8. Stevie H

Why? So we can tut and sneer, and mash “HANG THE SICK SCUM” into our keyboards?

It won’t do anyone any good.

  9. matto

Why don’t you just make it up, isn’t that what you do anyhow.

  10. Tom (iow)

We have a right to our outrage!!!! Nail him up, that’ll teach him that sadistic killing is wrong!
