hmm, i’m not sure this quite has crusade potential, it’s not a minor persistant grievance that the readers like to bitch about (ie, bins), its not a vague overarching concept like “respect for (insert group)” that they can keep shifting the goalposts on, and it’s not a propsed idea that’ll wither fall through (ie, the paper “wins” like the dog insurance thing) or take so long to come to pass they’ll just forget there ever was a crusade.

I also like that the “Eurocrats” are apparently deliberately picking the dogs which are obviously ill and bringing them in. “So your dog is foaming at the mouth, behaving strangely and refusing to drink water? Great, in you come.” Nothing like a good, healthy dose of fear with your self proclaimed ‘newspaper’.

I reckon they should make all dog owners insure their dogs, so if they give anyone rabies, they can afford to pay them some compensation
