Another day, another excuse to knock the BBC. Today it’s on the subject of Mrs T’s funeral: “Horrified listeners said it was ‘in the worst possible taste’ to discuss the former Prime Minister’s funeral before her death”. Predictable comments like “Yes, well coming from the BBC that is only to be expected. Lets all talk about the death of their management and see how they react!”
But go to http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1034634/Lady-Thatcher-honoured-State-funeral.html and what do we find – a 2008 story on Mrs T’s funeral flanked by ads which make the Mail money if you click on them: “What Does A Funeral Cost? Official Site. Instant Estimates on Burials & Cremations by Free SMS.” (you will see different ads depending on where you are). The hypocrisy is beyond belief!
As usual when the tory party turn around & start to chew up those they are claimed (by the likes of the DM) to represent the Daily Wail just doesn’t quite know what to do.

No “outrage”? No “fear”? Do they hate it because “it’ll hit the overtaxed middle classes”, or like it because it’ll target chavs?
