All this “new treatment” is is a proposal to give people existing cancer drugs if they are at high risk of getting breast cancer in the future, instead of waiting until they’ve got cancer and then treating it with those same drugs. Its still being debated as these drugs can have some nasty side-effects including possibly raising the risk of other cancers. Of course the Express never lets facts get in the way of a “miracle cure” story!
