Deadly bug in salads … so we’ll give you a free packet of bacon … the Mail having reported last week “Eating two rashers of bacon or a sausage every day can increase your risk of heart disease by nearly half … Bowel cancer and breast cancer have also previously been linked to consumption of higher amounts of ham and bacon.”

It’s not the bugs in the salad that i’m terrified of,its the thought of another pop, rock or whatever it is they call themselves nowadays, coming back to pollute the atmosphere with their snarling, ranting,so-called antics.

    Remember: It’s E.coli, not miracle GB.coli.
    Is it Danish bacon?

    Free bacon?
Won’t that alienate our loyal muslim readership?

I don’t want no horrible European bacteria in my salads. Only the best possible English (not British) germs for me.

Salad bugs on one side of the page, obnoxious tosser on the other…………

We’ve had free cakes and free sweets, now it’s free bacon and chocolate breakfast cereal with a warning about the dangers of salad. I’m definitely detecting an agenda here somewhere. Having devastated our health the next Express diet is going to be an easy sell.

Well spotted TonyB – and the Express as well as the Mail carried the fry-up story….yet here they are trying to flog aforementioned (possibly) carcinogenic bacon. Bunch of hypocrites.
    I despair, I really do.

Imagine if another group of (previously unknown) middle aged mancs formed a “Boy Band”- think I’d watch The X Factor for that!

Accompanied by a half page picture, I noticed in the newsagent yesterday that the Express had a 4 page feature on “Why Diana will never be forgotten”, presumably attributing it to non-stop bollocks about her in certain organs.
