    At last, they’re giving the phone-hacking story the coverage it deserves. Even the DM can’t ignore this story now.

    One tacky tabloid reporting on the unethical behaviour of another tacky tabloid? Phew. Things much be serious. If I were Mr Dacre I’d be watching out for the “Fake Sheik”. Mr Murdoch may want his revenge.

    Interesting reminder on the London Evening Standard (once a Mail title!) site: “In 2006, the former Information Commissioner, Richard Thomas, compiled a snapshot league table of print titles that had paid a particular private detective to obtain personal information on celebrities and other prominent individuals.
