I personally have no problem with these kind of pictures being in the print media because, A) I’m pretty desensitised to such imagery, and B) I don’t read the papers.
But I reckon I’m pretty much in the minority there.
However, these are the same rags that shout loudest and complain the most about violent video games and films, the old “Ban This Sick Filth”. Films and games are not real, they are pretend, no one is really harmed whereas this is real. Real life human, real life brutality, real life death, and real life dead people.
While there seems to be some doubt about the exact circumstances of his death, the Mail seems have no doubt he was executed with a shot to the head. They may be right, but it looks like another case of the Mail writing things up in the most dramatc way without much regard for the facts.
