From the headline it seems the Mail cares less about the elderly than about attacking the alleged culprits. Although with so many ‘culprits’ it seems likely the fault lies with the system and not with the individual carers. Once again, the Mail doesn’t actually care about the issue, only about blame.
I wonder if the article mentioned that most of the careers are employed by private companies and not directly by councils, as this was noticeably missing from ITN last night.
Wow, privatisation and cuts has led to an uncaring profit driven culture, who’d have thought it? Not the Fail and right-wing that’s for sure.
Alot of carers are paid the absolute bog standard minimum per hour, whilst the private contractor are paid many times that, and they’re required to see more people, or spend less time with each individual, So you can see where the money is going in this little scam.
And it aint just the elderly, it’s also the scrounging scum disabled who love living on benefit and getting shit council care who are also suffering because of this policy.
But lets blame the carers who do a not very nice job for no financial reward, the selfish cunts.
