Why are they so anti bicycle anyway?* Don't bicycles hark back to a more innocent age of local vicars riding down country lanes on Raleighs in teh 1950z? Or something.

*I do know really:
1) Because they don't damage the environment enough.
2) They are sometimes quite trendy and ridden by young people in Lycra. Young people! GGrrrrr!
3) They take up valuable space on our roads that could be better used by SUVs, 4x4s, and large executive cars.
4) They don't take out nearly enough foxes on their travels

It actually demonstrates that the Nazi underclass that developed into the Third Reich is alive and active in Britain under the banner of left Liberalism, always a cover for extreme activities. It never ceases to amaze the way that the luvvies of the silver screen will flock to support any openly fascist and anti western and anti democratic government just so long as it does not affect their own Alice in Wonderland Islington lives, nor their own inflated ego's. Carry on the good work, while the rest of us just roll our eyes every time some luvvy opens their mouth without the guidance of a script trying to convince us that they actually know what they are talking about.

The BBC won’t report the Muslim element of paedophile gangs in northern towns

Groups representing Sikh and Hindu communities have complained about the term "Asian" being used to describe the men involved in grooming trials.

Earlier this month, nine men were jailed for being part of a sex ring in Rochdale which groomed girls for sex.

The groups said the men involved were "almost always of Pakistani origin" and the term "Asian" was inaccurate.

The Ramadan Foundation has said grooming is "a significant problem for the British Pakistani community".

The joint statement was released by the Network of Sikh Organisations UK, The Hindu Forum of Britain, and The Sikh Media Monitoring Group UK.

It says the reluctance of the media and the government to discuss the "disproportionate representation of Muslims in such cases" and the fact victims are "almost always non-Muslim girls" is adding to the cause of far-right groups such as the BNP.

It said blanket use of the word "Asian" was "unfair to other communities of Asian origin".

"We believe that in this case the government itself is sanctioning the use of term Asian as a way of clouding responsibility," the groups say.

"Evidence tells us that there is a significant problem with Pakistani Asian men. We've got to be bold enough to stand up and say this is a problem and not let it get hijacked by the far right. It's only now that people are prepared to discuss this."

Mr Williams-Thomas said he was unsure why the trend appeared to exist, stressing it was "a complex issue" that could involve factors such as disparities in the age of sexual consent in the UK compared with other countries and their perception of females. He said there needed to be research and better cultural engagement.

Indeed, so desperate were the BBC to sweep this story under the carpet that they only spent around half of last week's Question Time talking about it

Calling Israel a democracy a complete joke. Democracies don't treat 20% of it's citizens as 2nd class. Democracies don't illegally occupy lands under military rule and apartheid. Democracies don't ghettoise the people they expel from their homes and deny them even the most innocuous of goods. Democracies don't apply discriminatory marriage laws. Democracies don't give one religion special advantage over others. Israel a democracy? Don't make us laugh!

Time Melanie started to highlight the abuse of human rights and the repression of the Palestinian people by the Israelis. I believe the tide is starting to turn at last and hopefully Israel will be compelled to act like a civilised state and get off Palestinian land.
