Initial thoughts are how shocking! Having said that however, it seems as though they are trying their best to take responsibility for their actions, especially Alfie.

Not an ideal situation, but as long as the child is loved and cared for properly it is not a bad thing. Age does not guarantee good parenting, as recent headlines of babies killed by their parents proves.

Good luck to them and, now the deed is done and the clocks can't be turned back, I hope they get all the support they need.

Life may not be easy for the young parents featured in this report, but they have a good attitude and the support of their families and I say good luck to them. It would be nice to receive a follow-up report in five years time showing Alfie and Chantelle married and living up to their responsibilities with a happy, healthy five year old daughter.
