I don't understand it so it shouldn't be happening. It's all the Guardian anyway.

Commentators - "yeah, we don't get it either. Bloody liberal intellectuals".

The Interthingy certainly is useful, how about a Nordic curse young Queynt?

So what if the Queen REALLY ran Britain ...

She could do away with pointless sycophants by cutting their heads off?

Was it Malcolm Tucker (yeah yeah fictional character...) who said that all political sketch writers were overgrown public school kids, recycling the same old jokes, convinced that they were some sort of comedy gods, whle actually being about as funny as Ian Brady in Hamleys? If so, he was bang on the money.

He's the pettifogging, pedantic Attorney General. A very perverse Tory

I actually thought it was the job of the Attorney General to be pedantic! I've certainly got more respect for Grieve than I have for Grayling or May who simply believe they can pick and choose which laws they want to obey in order to play to the galleries.

Comments really sticking it to him:

Quote:
Pathetic! Quentin Letts your nasty headline says everything about what is wrong with journalism today. How is it relevant, necessary or informative to draw attention to someone's physical features to either support your point of view or help your readers to understand the issues? You should be ashamed of yourself! For me you have in one word now made me more receptive to Justice Levenson's comments than to yours. It's a shoddy trick to gain attention and headlines - and not on how to win friends and influence people. Now on a larger and far more serious (some may say sinister) scale - isn't that what this is all about? No standards of decency - own goal Quentin Letts!
Quote:
What a truly offensive, pathetic headline....it's ones like these that show perhaps a little regulation may be good to stop such articles: for a paper that occasionally includes pieces about the effects of bullying, including name-calling, you may want to address some of your writers on this subject, who seem to think it ok to mock a respected public figure in such a childish fashion

All of the top-rated find it disgusting and infantile. The DM really can't help themselves, can they? They even have the temerity to put it next to an article about glorious press freedom being defended.

Has it been confirmed that as Leveson walked off it was Letts who was bellowing a question at him?

They're just wallowing in it aren't they? It's party time.
