All of them?

Even the ones that call themselves so-and-so and partners?

To the best of my knowledge there are no barristers' chambers calling themselves X and Partners. That's usually solicitors' firms. There are barristers now employed within solicitors' firms but, at least as of now, they have to get themselves disbarred and become solicitors in order to become partners.

Littlejohn yet again appears to imply that fighting for the Taliban is the same as being a member of Al Qaeda. In the case of Al Qaeda most of it's members join of their on volition because they support the groups aims, the Taliban however is more of a conscript army that goes from village to village recruiting new members if they come knocking at your door you have two options either join up and risk being killed in action or say no to the Taliban and risk being killed on the spot.

Christ, this is sorry stuff, even by its standards. All the satirical bite of a dead sheep.

As for that piece of self-delusional crap immediately under the main piece...words fail me. Just a shame that they didn't fail Little Dicky.

Reading the article reminded me of the old Tiswas clip where the young girl calls the Grand Prix a Grand Pricks, just about sums up Littlejohn

In other news, woman dresses smartly for court. What did he expect her to turn up in? A sack?

A pedant writes: Actually it was "Saturday Banana" a Southern Television production with Bill Oddie and 'Shel off EastEnders.

Murray Walker hasn't commentated on the F1 since 2001. That whole bit reads like the sort of flight of fancy that normally comes out over a few pints rather than the work of a supposed professional writer.

Oh God, another 'Richard Littlejohn's Comedy Vehicle' article, accompanied by images of him grinning inanely, wearing a hat made out of balloons, driving a clown car while accompanied by a parade of clowns, Morris dancers, children with streamers and balloons, oompah band and so on.

Also, good to see him bang up to date with attacks on Blair and Brown. Damn, he's topical.

EDIT - as at least one commentator points out, it doesn't even make internal logical sense. If the police have closed all streets in a 3 mile radius due to a bank robbery, why is the race going ahead? Unless the streets they were racing on were blocked off just for the race, in which case why all the goings-on with traffic wardens, Bulgarian lorries and so on?

If I could be arsed I would ask if, following some boisterous behaviour after a few sherbets in Peterborough, Mr Littlejohn put on a suit rather than turn up to his appointment with the beak wearing tight leather trousers, a leopard skin print shirt and accompanied by two "dopey birds".

Apart from the 'dislike of anything British', 'traitor' etc etc the saddest part of this is finding out that Yoda is a paedo.

Ritchie is clearly not much of a tipster because the job actually went to a bloke who the Mail described as a Eurocrat because he has spent the last 30 years working for various European institutions. Looks like another case of the Mail being so hell bent on stopping one candidate that they have not considered any of the other possible candidates.

Two of Mr Littlejohn's trademark hilarious imagining-what-other-people-say pieces in one day. I couldn't read past the first lines of either. Did they turn into Tolstoy towards the end?

Heh! Nice one, Barry Baz Barrington of Barry!
