That last one's brilliant. Got Wally off pat. Even the spelling mistake.

Looks like someone's romping away with the 'worst-rated' on Littledickie's cooments. It has to be said though, not much of a turnout.

I think there was a real Wally, once, a long time ago. The rest are ironic echoes...

When did this forum become 'anti British.' I'm actually very pro British I would love all newspaper and media companies in this country were British owned, I would also like all the energy companies and water companies to be British owned, I will be supporting Andy Murray at Wimbledon and I will be backing Engelbert on Saturday night. I don't spend over half the year living in America. How much more pro British could I be.

If you're doing a spoof you can't be so more batshit than the original that the forgery is obvious. Where Wally's concerned, of course, it's hard to be extra-batshit.

Over to you, Wally. I know it's unlikely you'll be dropping in here, not being an obsessed sad-case or anything.

We're "anti- British" because we're not Nationalists.
The Right often confuse Patriotism and Nationalism, presumably their lack of education means they don't know the difference.

Malcolm you raise an interesting question in my mind, what if Wally never did exist and was all the creation of a troll from the start?

My Trolldar clearly doesn't work as I just can't tell the difference between one batshit Wally comment and another. As far as I'm concerned the imposter is the Bootleg Beatle of Trolls, i.e. note-for-note perfect.

But you do, Wally, don't you? You care a LOT. Otherwise you wouldn't keep going on about it to a load of strangers who have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

I tend to see irony in a lot of these posts, perhaps too many.
I think that we don't factor in visitors to this site, and the fact that many more people loathe the Mail than have registered here.
It would be easy for a visitor, or posting member even, to pick up a meme from here and use it to troll the Mail Online site without ever disclosing what they are doing - after all I did the same to local papers for years...

I reckon that a good proportion of posts to Mail Online are ironic. Especially the 'fat women' ones.

I wonder, could it be my hero, Andy?

The local carnsil want to charge US - taxpayers - £700 just to put up a road closed sign for 4 hours, just so the kids can have a street party. I thought Cameron was going to sort these council daylight-robbers out?Perhaps the Royal Family could help us out a bit on this one? It's OUR street after all - councils don't own any property, do they?

It is a bit off of the carnsil to charge US taxpayers. I'm pretty sure the USA is a republic.

14 comments following the removal of a Wally post and reply... How long before Dacre realises he can have ten Sam Bricks for the price of a Richard Littlejohn?

The only reason I can think of for removing the Wally post is that the "original" Wally claimed he was being impersonated. But how can you claim that when you're using a fictional name anyway? And Stephen of Tewkesbury, who quoted the post and replied to it, is slightly miffed at having his post removed without even the courtesy of an email telling him why.

The Mail mods can see the ISP of posters and know your email addy. It would be easy to check out who's who and block those who cause a nuisance. And yes, I'm looking at you Malcolm.
