Littlejohn is not funny. His novel, 'To Hell In A Handcart' is the most unfunny bigoted bile I have ever read. Every character and situation within is a cliche and Littlejohn underestimates the intelligence of his readers.
Finally, I find it difficult to believe that you are gay and also like Littlejohn. Unless I am mistaken, he once said that flame throwers should be employed to get rid of homosexual protestors on a radio programme that he was speaking on. So he can just f*ck himself.
I saaw his novel in the Oxfam bookshop. It reminded me of Mailwatch. I didn't buy it myself, mind - people might see me and think I like that kind of thing. How embarassing!
I believe that the Wikipedia entry on Littlejohn (which someone else is sure to have the link for) mentioned something about a Littlejohn radio show in 1994 where he was talking about age-of-consent protests. I didn't actually hear said show (I was twelve at the time) but the Wiki mentioned his flamethrower comments. He's also made jokes about gay people getting killed in his columns, I think. Johann Hari had at least one article up on his website about this.
My conclusion: Gareth is a drive-by troll. There's every chance we'll never see him again
