Somehow it would have been a much less thrilling comic if this had been the case.

Any sighting's of England, "not in Britain", or similar? I'm expecting to see "not in the north, not in the inner city" at some point as well.

That utter wanker who's recently started calling himself The Celestial Toymaker (previously, The Doctor), Somewhere In The Space-Time Continuum, Brighton. It makes me sad that such a typical Mailite bigot also happens to be a Doctor Who fan.

I'm discerning a common theme here I think, straightforward overcompensation. If you always have to tell everyone you're powerful and important then who are you trying to convince really?

Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't.

Heh! Quoting Thatcher to ridicule Mail readers. How deliciously subversive!

Surely not,the fan of a pansexual immigrant who surrounds himself with naieve young women much younger than him?

This is from something about a local council thinking about replacing some cobbled paths with normal pavements. I like the paranoid ranty bit about Common Purpose and the refusal to use capital letters for 'EU'.

Bit late isn't he, most streets have been paved for decades.

Not wishing to be pedantic or nuffin' but most medieval streets were pavé with a central drain for sewage and refuse. I don't see that in the pictures. In villages the streets were mud, sometimes gravelled, later tarmac'd. It isn't an 'iron-age village' any more than London or York are. The cobbles (if they are cobbles, and not setts) are likely 19th century.
Cobbles (or setts) are a bit of a nightmare for vehicles and pedestrians when wet or icy. They are uncomfortable to drive on, and can be deadly for motorcyclists and cyclists.

Given that they have cobblestones in towns all over the place, I wonder how he makes out that they are particularly British? Within the last few months I've crippled myself on cobbles in both Bruges and Stockholm.
