Jeez , they still can't get it right. A cardiac arrest is not a heart attack.

Muamba has made remarkable progress since suffering a cardiac arrest during Wanderers' game against Tottenham last month.

I thought the post-mortem examination said the poor child died from a cardiac arrest?

No, she died from what the Daily Mail decided she died from.

Pensioner who 'caused' holiday horror crash which killed father and son, 14, was on way to visit paedophile husband in prison

Why is "caused" in quotes in the headline but not in the article?

And why does it matter that he was a paedophile?

In fact, why does any of that matter? An accident happened, two people died and two more are (I assume) seriously injured. It's despicable that the DM is... doing whatever it does.

of course the woman who caused the crash was going to visit her paedophile hubby.
Mail logic decrees paedophilia caused this tragedy.

They're trying to smear her, she's a bad-un by association.
Feel no sympathy readers.
Married to a paedo = she was obviously an accomplice.
Look she's just killed two people = what can you expect of someone who would marry a paedo.

In the Mail world, being married to a paedophile makes you a bad driver. Maybe all paedos' spouses should have their driving licences revoked automatically.

Wishy-washy liberal! All relatives of teh peedos should be herded together onto a deserted island and left to eat each other. FACT.

You can't leave them to eat each other: that would take time! We need to kill them IMMEDIATELY!

If it was good enough for Kaiser Wilhelm II dealing with Russian prisoners of war, it should be good enough for you!

They even have a fairly large picture of the woman's husband at the top of the article, as if he has anything to do with what happened.
And I suppose if someone recognises him from this photo upon his release and kicks his head in, well that will just be a sad and tragic accident.

The lazy sex? Women get half as much daily exercise as men

Quote:
They found while men got an average 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity a day, women only achieved 18 minutes.

Sixty percent ≠ half.

Quote:
While their study does not address why women were not getting enough exercise, the authors said research shows that physical activity patterns often begin in childhood.

'Research has shown that around ages 5 or 6 these patterns begin,' Mr Cardinal said.

'Parents tend to be more concerned with the safety of girls, and have more restrictive practices around outdoor time and playtime than with boys.'

Mr Loprinzi said this pattern tends to continue into adulthood, and that overall confidence may be a factor.

'Some evidence indicates that women, compared to men, have less confidence in their ability to overcome their exercise-related barriers,' he said.

He added that women also often cite a lack of time to exercise due to child-rearing.

Nothing to do with laziness, then.
