And that's churned off the International Business News.
I wonder how much time it will get?

Some outlets are now reporting that the Liège gunman was a right-wing nutter, too.

Britain enjoys ‘second-highest standard of living in EU’

Britain has a standard of living 21% higher than the average in the 27 countries in the EU, and second only to Luxembourg, according to figures released by Eurostat.

Meanwhile, a shitty survey of 20 people by some company plugging some bollocks will get top billing in the Mail... as long as the results suit their agenda.

There's been another gunman one in Florence.
This one is a right-wing extremist whose targets were Senegalese street vendors. He was a supporter of the Italian far-right, anti-immigration organisation Casapound.

No TV - presumably no dramatic pictures. The visual image decides the news agenda.

Alcohol misuse 'significantly higher' in armed forces

Quote:
Alcohol misuse in the armed forces is "substantially higher" than the level expected for the general population, according to a parliamentary report, which also finds that in the military the misuse is four times more common than post-traumatic stress disorder.

The defence select committee calls for the Ministry of Defence to conduct an urgent study into the issue to examine why 13% of military personnel have got a "drink problem", compared to 6% in the general population.

I wonder if the Mail will be reporting the fact that NHS reforms are resulting in GP's losing their jobs, especially GP's who have publicly criticised the reforms?

As I said further up the thread:
Quote:
'Left wing' groups were responsible for far fewer terror plots than seperatists. So Left wingers aren't the "most dangerous" at all.

I wonder if stuff like the mosque in Stoke being (allegedly?) damaged in a gas explosion caused by an EDLer counts as right wing terrorism?

Quote:
Malcolm: http://www.loonwatch.com/2011/11/update ... y-muslims/

The Europol reports. The ones that show that, over the whole time they've been running (2006-present) the sum total of deaths due to islamic terrorism is....

zero!

So the stats are from a reliable source, but aBoB has missed a big chunk of info. It's like saying Labour got more votes than the Lib Dems at the general election, so Labour are in charge. Which might be true, except you've missed that the Tories got more than either LDs or Labour.

And now we know that it was an EDL plot to blow up the Stoke mosque, I wonder if that'll be 'right wing terrorism' or 'vandalism/arson'?

Quote:
Jacob Zuma, the president of South Africa, has become embroiled in a row over the impact of Christianity on African culture after reportedly blaming the religion for the breakdown of traditional communities.

Zuma said Christianity – introduced by European missionaries mainly in the 19th century – had destroyed the safety net for orphans, elderly people and the poor, according to South Africa's Times newspaper.

The front-page report prompted criticism from church leaders but was described as "gravely misleading" by presidential aides, who claimed that Zuma had been referring to "western culture" and not singling out Christianity.

Speaking at the launch of a road safety and crime awareness campaign in his home province, KwaZulu-Natal, Zuma was quoted as saying: "As Africans, long before the arrival of religion and [the] gospel, we had our own ways of doing things.

"Those were times that the religious people refer to as dark days but we know that, during those times, there were no orphans or old-age homes. Christianity has brought along these things."

BBC wastes money, move along, nothing to see here.

Looks like other news organisations have a habit of ignoring news that doesn't suit their agenda too.
