Given that it involves the despised European Court of "Yuman Rites", I wonder if the Mail will cover This Story if the crumblies don't win their case?

I fear that, even though it would entail hypocrisy of the basest kind (though come to think of it, when has that ever stopped them?), they'll be leading large with it if the decision goes the pensioners' way.

I doubt this'll turn up in there (but it's not really news):

Who still uses internet cafes?

Quote:
The Megabytes Cafe has been providing services since 1996 for the people at Aberfan, in Merthyr Vale.

It started out as place where young people could go to do their homework or play games, but the grandparents of the children also wanted to learn more about computers.

"As a result, the younger and the older generation were brought together, so in terms of community cohesion it has been an absolutely terrific project to undertake," says Jeff Edwards, founder of the cafe which is part of the Aberfan Merthyr Vale Youth and Community Project.

The internet bringing cross-generational social cohesion? What would they make of such a thing?

Court hearing expat pensions case

Inflation proofing only applies to UK pensioners who live in the European Economic Area or in 15 other countries, but not Canada or South Africa.

A two-hour hearing will be held at the European Court of Human Rights.

That darn 'uman rites act eh!

More jobs at BMW plant in Oxford. I've had a quick look at the DM site and can't see any evidence of the story on there. Well, it is a positive story so it wouldn't be would it?

Well It's a bit hidden on the BBC Site as well, imagine if it was up to a 1,000 jobs could go, it would probably be 2nd or 3rd story.

On the day the BNP announces that it will change its constitution so that it is no longer just open to indigenous caucasions , the Mail instead runs with with another BNP story about a 'muslim community leader that made up a BNP kidnap story. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... story.html

Despite a number of stories and articles about the two brothers involved in that horrific attack, the Mail doesn't seem to have picked up the story of these neighbours which is featured in The times -

Could this have anything to do with it?

Migrants to UK 'returning home'

Quote:
Many economic migrants from central and eastern Europe who came to work in the UK are returning home because of the recession, a report suggests.

The global Migration Policy Institute study, commissioned by the BBC, says EU expansion led to 1.3m east Europeans moving to the UK up to 2008.
