The Mail's favorite rent a quote group, the Taxpayers Alliance, being investigated for Tax irregularities. Brilliant. :D

Quote:
Singer Van Morrison is taking legal action against a British newspaper over claims that he fathered a fourth child with a woman called Gigi Lee.

He has once again denied the claims and announced he will sue the Mail on Sunday over further reports published at the weekend.

In a statement obtained by Sky News Online, Morrison says he felt "reluctantly compelled" to speak out following the newspaper's article.

"There is no truth in the suggestion that I have recently become a father," the statement says.

"The Mail were notified in advance that there was no factual basis for suggesting otherwise.

"I have instructed my solicitors to institute immediate legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday and will take all appropriate action to prevent repetition of these allegations."

Morrison was forced to deny claims he had become a father after an announcement appeared on his official website last week.

It said the Belfast-born star had fathered a fourth child called George Ivan Morrison III.

Morrison strongly refutes the allegations, calling them "completely and utterly without foundation".

He said his website has been hacked into and has asked his management team to carry out an immediate investigation.

The singer said he was "very happily married" to Michelle Morrison with whom he has two children.

And guess which intrepid Mail hack it was who broke that story...

Somali pirates holding Britons issue terrifying ultimatum: Pay £1.9m or yacht couple die

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... e-die.html

Told they were being split up by their captors, the yacht couple begged for one last hug - then refused to let go. The response was savage... beaten without mercy

Looks like they're going to die then.
Dumb Pirates, where do they think this couple can come up with the money from?
Sadly to pay them will only encourage them to kidnap some other fool who's daft enough to go sailing in dangerous waters.

Mind you, some of the comments are worthy of the Mail

One of the BNP supporting comments in that Times article has quoted that poem-

Quote:
michelle robinson wrote:

First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

Are the BNP trying to paint themselves as like the victims of Nazism or is that a threat to the rest of us?

I hate that quote being used by fucktards like the BNP.

I also hate that people commenting on that story are trying to make Nick Griffin a martyr despite the fact he would go to jail for a nasty thing (which, of course, he won't).

Even if it was supposed to be the BNP being portrayed as victims, I'm willing to bet they were stood there shouting "yeah bang up the lefty cunts" when they went for the communists and socialists...

WTF?

Anyway, much talk about it playing into the BNP's hands, making a martyr out of Griffin and all that sort of mealy-mouthed bollocks. Well fuck that, quite frankly. If Griffin and Darby won't comply with the law, then throw the loathsome cunts straight into jail, I say.

I don't recall many people saying Tessa Jowell should be let off because she's a political figure when she had that traffic accident (or whatever it was) last year...

Makes you think.
