It's a load of gubbins disguised as an article, but TWICE it mentions Thorpe Park as being in Leeds, when it's actually in Chertsey in Surrey, down the road from me. The silly twats haven't bothered researching properly because there is a place called Thorpe Park in Leeds, so they've just gone with that.

Seems they have now realised their mistake

Nah you wouldn't. The place (Thorpe Park, I mean) is a shithole. They spend too much money on building new rides, and no money on maintaining the rides they already have. Every time I've been there, there's a sign at the ticket offices that has a list of all the rides that aren't working. Tidal Wave, a very high water ride, was falling apart last year during a half term week; apparently they held some cracks together with super glue until half term was over, and THEN closed it for repairs. There are signs around the park saying 'Tussaud's Group', even though it's no longer owned by Tussaud's. A friend of mine who works there tells me delightful stories about bits of metal falling off rides and the workers just kick them to the side. It's also only really attended by annoying 14-year-olds from the local rough schools (one of which I attended), and...wow, I sound really bitter.

Price goes up every year an'all, I think it's somewhere between £35 and £45 now? S'not worth it.

He's no footballer, but WAG Danielle scores herself a new mystery man

Quote:
From what we can tell, he's not a footballer, so it adds even more to the mystery behind Danielle Lloyd's new man.

[...]

It's a change from the model's usual type - she has dated a fair number of Premiership footballe stars - but these two seemed very much an item as they strolled past Mayfair Hotel in the late hours.

O RLY?

Although having seen him play a few times, the headline perhaps isn't THAT inaccurate.

They've changed the story now, but still failed to edit the captions:

Quote:
Danielle and her mystery man: But who is the the latest beau of the footballer WAG?

The headline now is:

WAG Danielle makes it a hat-trick as she scores herself a third Spurs player

Still, better late than never, eh?

Danielle Lloyd came away from the Jade/Shilpa Big Bro row virtually unscathed, despite being a poisonous little shit-stirring racist cow.

All 14 year olds are annoying. As I do a SWEEEEEEPING generalisation worthy of the Mail and its readers. Mind you, they got on my nerves the most when I was one.

Yes when the recession kicks in what you need is a man with aload of muscles, though these men have been around for at least 5 years and some almost since the last depression (Stallone)...

On this story - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... ctims.html

they have gone to a lot of trouble, rightly, to avoid naming the 12 year old girl in the story. However, they have put up a picture of one of her classmates in which she is named. Doh!
