Well spotted. I got one in:

This is great news. I'm frequently 'splashing' my keyboard with a hard-to-wipe liquid, normally after about five minutes clicking around the DM sidebar.

Can one £10 wonder cream really clean your whole house? We put Lakeland's Bio-mex to the test against other popular all-purpose cleaners...

Backfires rather, because the answer turns out to be no.

Campaigners' fury at legal pill Alcopal which lets you drink five pints of beer and still pass a breathalyser test

The pills, which are taken before and after a drinking session, are said to prevent alcohol being absorbed through the stomach and into the bloodstream.

If it actually reduces the amount of alcohol that is absorbed into the body, is there a real problem? If it's not being absorbed, it's not having any impact on anything. As long as it isn't hiding the actual amount of alcohol in the bloodstream. They won't be as drunk as they would normally be after drinking that quantity. A downside is that people may drink more, because they don't feel as if they have drunk as much as they have.

etc.

That being said, I won't feel sorry for anyone who buys these pills. Untested and made in India from natural ingredients... I doubt they will work as advertised.

Beauty AND brains: Gemma Merna stuns in nude shoot for zero-sugar drink she created for her diabetic husband

Quote:
Gemma's back, torso and left leg have been adorned with soft pictures of winding leaves, while her blonde hair adds to the natural feel of the pictures by falling in loose curls down her back.

Adjective overload! Her blonde hair is about as natural as the fizzy crap she's advertising.

Quote:
The 27-year-old smiles softly into the camera as she arches her back in one striking pose, and in another she pulls her knees up to her tummy to protect her modesty.
Quote:
Speaking about the photographs, she told MailOnline: 'There's nothing more natural than going back to basics. The shoot was based on Mother Nature, I loved doing something really different and am sure the images will be well received!'

Beauty AND brains! And marketing waffle.

Is Starbucks coffee qualitatively different than any other? if so, is it decidedly better?

I had a Subway for the first time the other day. Do I not have the same tastebuds as the people who I see in there everyday? Why would you pay £4.20 for a BLAND AS FUCK SANDWICH?

Sorry, got distracted.

I find Subway fascinating. There is a seemingly vast array of choices available, and yet every one of the various sandwiches I've eaten there has tasted more or less the same.

The bread is some serious crap, too. It seems to be comprised of salt and sugar alone.

I hate the present trend to put everything on malted bread. Partly because I just don't like it and would appreciate a choice, but as a diabetic I might as well eat a Mars bar.
