I call BS on those.. Typing 'inflatable life jackets' into google gets you sites about... inflatable life jackets.. No doubt similar for the others.
Depends whether or not you've made a conscious choice to go into the Google settings and change the little slider saying "How much explicit sexual content (web pages, images, and videos) should SafeSearch filter from your results?" to "No Filtering" I guess..
Well unless there's a specific mailite 'show me porn, whether I asked for it or not' setting that doesn't make any difference. Google is actually quite good at giving you what you asked for. And as you point out, safesearch means you won't get porn unless you specifically enable it anyway..
More likely he was searching for 'inflatable girlfriends' and his boss walked past, so the life jacket story is his cover.
I'd bet you any money that's exactly what happened, or they are simply too thick to have worked out the filter settings.
Mine is set a bit lower to prevent my Utorrent connections been blocked, but I've still never typed anything into Google that resulted in anything remotely pornographic coming up.
As for the married father (why does this matter?) why did he have to click on the files to discover what they were, surely the filenames were enough of a give away? (I for one have never heard of a singer or band releasing an album of songs all named after girls).
He knew what he was doing alright.
