You're right, he isn't particularly rich.

Still, the Barclays must like him. They are.

Which, as with all journalists, is the point.

I've a terrible urge to add a word to the end of this post.

She's landed a gig doing radio from Wimbledon because she "knows a lot about tennis".

Problem is she actually knows a lot about Janet Street Porter and talks about it to the exclusion of anything else.
Janet Street Porter is the best at Tennis ever, she knows all about it. Tennis is great except shit tennis, otherwise known as
Men's tennis, which is shit because it just is.
Tennis is better than football, rugby and snooker because I don't get jobs talking about them.
And what's good for Janet Street Porter is good for women everywhere and we need more of it.
Did I mention tennis? The editor told me to slip something in about it.

I'm beginning to think we were over-critical of Cliff.

Janet Street Porter, able to eat an apple through a letter box.

Dreadful braying bitch. She somehow manages to be less likeable than the plebs she has to find work for. Plus, her show makes it look like the unemployed just aren't trying hard enough to find work. In some cases, that's true, but how likely would these people be to get the jobs on the show if she hadn't had a quick word with the employers?

Was this the one on a few years back, the mistruths and damn lies put out about Welfare is an utter disgrace, and ironically makes the the job of people working in DWP much much harder.

Let me guess. Take on a load of people at bottom rate recession wages- which, surprise, surprise, are less than what people already in similar jobs for years earn. Never mind quality, never mind the staff having decent wages.

I did a BPP course years ago. Teaching was all right, class sizes were big.

The parent company is associated with the notorious University of Phoenix.

Still, the terrible British universities- with a mere 30 in the world 200, for (previously) OKish fees- need a shake-up from BPP.

Wouldn't it be true that they are coming here at a time when the American government is looking to restrict them.

I posted a few links in another area of the forum

Or - appropriate to her new gig - "Through a tennis racket".

Hopefully he's already been included, but Chris Addison, the unfunny twat who appears regularly on Mock The Week is quite punchable.

Would it make sense to accept that "Funny" is a subjective measure.
We could then restrict ourselves to fantasy assaults on comics who've actually done something bad, and made the world a worse place.

I saw the first episode of the current series. A crucial part of the job application process was completely bypassed- applying for the job itself! Midway through the show she told the four jobseekers that she had interviews for them and they were to brush up on interview techniques, presentation etc. The equally important bit of applying for a job and maybe giving them advice on how to make their application forms/CV stand out from 50 other people going for the same job was ignored. No wonder the unemployed are a regular tabloid target- from watching that programme like that it seems all you do is pick a job and an interview is automatically yours! All those type of shows aimed at helping people are unrealistic though. For example, If Dom Littlewood didn't have a cameraman with him and he wasn't a well-known presenter of consumer programmes he wouldn't find getting discounts on goods half as easy.

Also, they made a big thing about the welfare bill being £87bn, very cunningly omitting to say that the largest portion of that is paid in in state pensions not unemployment payments.

Good point, well made. In that case, I'll just punch Addison myself, but for general punching consumption, I'll nominate this twat, based on your criteria:
