On the subject of Asian, female, right-wing, Tory nutjobs, may I suggest Priti Patel if she hasn't already appeared in this thread.

They're giving lots and lots of money to political parties (including 'red' ed) which amounts to the same thing

(including Nick Clegg and David Cameron, Nigel Farage and even Caroline Lucas) in terms of impartiality.

Following on from Mr Lewis above:

Christ, my first long look at Priti Patel in person, on Channel 4 News. I'd only seen her quoted before, with gems like she believed in capital punishment but didn't know how to do it.

It was about pensioners abroad getting winter fuel allowance, it being 15C on the Costa del Sol. Lord Oakeshott brought the subject up in the Lords, and suggested it be taxable (for all pensioners). Priti said, guess what, it's the fault of the EU. And that it was "ironic" that Oakeshott was complaining because he was pro-EU- though I'd suggest it were a bit more likely her party had agreed to it in government than Oakeshott's. He hadn't complained about ex-pats getting it, as far as I could see, he'd suggested it be taxed, for all pensioners. Patel and her mates hadn't even suggested that, because they think pensioners are like in the Daily Mail. She liked the word "hard-pressed"

Pensioners in hot countries pay more for air conditioning and cold drinks. I think I can live with them getting Winter Fuel payments. Change the name to bad weather payments, if that helps.

She's like some pushy PR person, wheeing out a line. Which is what she was "in the real world". Lobbying for Bahrain, and other nice stuff.

I'd have thought the Mail would approve of Frank Skinner — cuddly jokes, catholicism, ITV — but they've chosen these pics to make him look as much of a dick as possible.

He's one of those people who I think they are in two minds about really, on the one hand he's all polite non-sweary and god bothering, but on the other hand his past work is a bit of a concern - they're probably worried that he might slip back.

Also he hangs around with David Baddiel. Not that I'd ever make assumptions about their feelings regarding him, no. He who made the film The Infidel as well...

Although Skinner is pissing me off with his smugness right now.

And might I add that wearing a Playboy t shirt should make Baddiel qualify automaticaly for this list, and indeed put him as near to the front of the like for a puching as he can get without usurping Young and Littlejohn.

I don't think I'm detecting that Frank Skinner is smugger than usual. He always does seem a bit smug.

I know it's not real, and the actors have to earn a crust. But I want to punch the "geek" character. And I want to punch the nice young lad because the girl fancies him.

Still, we've got rid of Kris Marshall, I suppose.

Hey, I'm going to take up fast bowling again. Couple of coconuts to aim at.

With IDS is Euro rebel Chris Heaton Harris. Who tweeted this hilarious line about Nick Clegg:

Quote:
I'm not laughing, honest! ;) What's the difference between Nic Clegg & Father Christmas? Some people still believe in Father Christmas!

I'm not laughing, honest, Chris. But how's that veto of yours looking now? Maybe "Nic" Clegg came out of it better than you?

Heaton Harris also organised the "Clarkson for PM" anti-windfarm bollocks letter.

Whenever I see a picture of IDS, I get the urge to draw a great big cock and balls sprouting out of his forehead.

Is this wrong?

The flat. What student owns and is renting rooms in a fucking flat like that?! It's ridiculous! What the hell possessed the ad men in question to let that through?
It's an advert selling a product, not a lifestyle, so how can they have got their target audience's situation so hopelessly wrong?

It's like Skins Goes To Uni - bollocks.

And not to mention the obvious geek. In fact, each one of them fits a particular stereotype so well - the nerdy gamer geek (gamers are ALL socialy unpopular geeks), the pretty hipster girl he fancies but will never fancy him back because she only goes out with dumn guys who wear deck shoes and angular haircuts and pretend to like poetry to impress her (which works), and the better-looking guy who is popular, doesn't work too hard and gets good grades without trying and so atracts all the girls -including the geek's hipster girl.

Wait and see. It's so obvious how this will pan out, do they honestly think the 18-25 group they are aiming at are that stupid?

And her face in that photo...you guys deal the blokes, I'll deal with that smug twunt.

This used to be quite common, especially in places like Exeter that attract fairly moneyed types. If you could afford it was quite a good investment, on the basis that student kid had secure accommodation for however long it was needed, with any luck rent from the tenants covered the mortgage, and you could flog the flat/house at a profit when he left, probably to another student. The profit element isn't really there any more but it's still fairly attractive, on the basis that you've got a pretty ready-made market both for tenants and for potential buyers.
