There's always one knobhead who has to parade his ignorance as wisdom, isn't there?

Marconi must have been disappointed, after all he was under the impression that he had made the first wireless transmissions in 1892. A 'well know' fact...

Actually I think the correct answer to this is 'Whatever you say dear, now can you remember where your house is?'

Top rated comment :)

Does coin found near Jerusalem prove that Samson lived... and that he did fight the lion?

The last nine paragraphs are copied word for word from wikipedia.

Leftie, therefore a whinger. Now, if he was singing from the DM hymn sheet...

Is not joining Facebook a sign you're a psychopath? Some employers and psychologists say staying away from social media is 'suspicious'

I thought a lack of empathy for the suffering of other human beings would be a better indicator of psychopathy.

Employers being suspicious of people without facebook accounts?

Wow......

I has come to my attention that with some employers, one simply cannnot win.
I've encountered various feedback from interviews, a chunk of which falls into the "I think you're really being a bit too fussy" category.
* With your extensive experience we think you would have been bored in this job. (Oh that some past employers had shared this concern).
* We noted a period of project management, and felt the vacancy would suit somebody more dedicated to system administration. (Cos people can only ever do one thing).
* Your answer "so I am no longer unemployed" seemed a random answer to "why would you like to work for us". (This one really floored me, I suspect new graduates are issued a little book with their MBA graduation packs that contains the magic "Correct" answer. I frankly couldn't lower myself to utter the footballer like "It's always been my ambition to work for Acme repairs and Spares".

Whinges over..

I begin to wonder whether this is an extension of the "All school-leavers are shit" meme so beloved of local businessmen.
I notice that these chaps have recently undergone personality bypasses, so they all sing from the federation of small business hymn-sheet.
I'm partly sympathetic that times are hard, but making an excuse that your business is failing because of Johnny the £2.24 / hour apprentice seems lame.
I wonder whether a similar culkture is growing against "experienced jobseekers" and "Career changers".

The current job market is ridiculous. So slave own.... sorry employers are being more asshole-ish than they normally are.

Of course the capitalists still own nearly all of the wealth and people are prepared to put up with that. So unfortunately no change in the near future... sadly.....

Not sure that that's inevitably a question to which the answer is "No".

Security measure will prevent anyone from accessing data and messages

Since the iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled in less than 48 hours and the [rumoured] take-over of the company that would provide this technology will not happen until the 4th of October (if at all) then probably NOT.

Full of thick bastard comments, though. Which is nice.
