Yes, that liberal lefty satirical show is back.

Today had Miles Jupp and Jeremy Hardy (along with the always-excellent Andy Hamilton and Rick Wakeman, I believe), and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

As I would. :D

Never seen it, would have watched it just for Miles Jupp though. Recommended then?

Ah, glad you posted this. Forgot all about it - not overly keen on The Now Show so tend to ignore Friday's schedule when that's on.

Over to the Pod Cast, Batman...

It's worth a listen. The Now Show has gone stale though.

Tonight's was pretty good. Jeremy Hardy seems to be on top form recently.

Today's is going great. Daily Fail's radio listings from last weekend suggested Sue Perkins as the fourth guest (alongside Jeremy Hardy, Andy Hamilton and Rebecca Front), but instead it's Bridget... um... someone.

But it's great. Jeremy Hardy is absolutely brilliant.

Much prefer the Now Show, but anything with Jeremy Hardy on has to be good.

Indeed. The News Quiz is rather left-leaning for a Beeb show (mind you, its comedy tends to lean quite heavily to the left), which Jeremy and Andy contribute a lot to.

Hope Mark Steel appears on it this series.

I could start a schism by saying that I much prefer The News Quiz and have little time for The Now Show.

But in all truthfulness I MUCH preferred Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive.

Bridget Christie? Stewart Lee's wife?

No idea, but it may very well be.
