Perhaps it contains a laxative, and previously went under the name Pass Water.

I'd challenge some of the statements in the article.

Temple of Artemis:
Original destroyed by Erostratus, rebuilding financed by the war spoils of Alexander the Great (He may be a Psycho killer, but he's a pious Psycho Killer - (Why does that sound familiar)).
The plinth and one column of the second incarnation are still present in a marshy field.
When I visited the column was topped with a stork's nest - which seemed appropriate for a fertility cult's temple.

Lumps of the Pharos lie at the bottom of alexandria harbour.
Smaller lumps have been incorporated into the Mameluke fort that guards the harbour.

Similarly the Mausoleum of Halicarnassos was destroyed in an earthquake, but the Crusader castle that guarded Bodrum harbour contains stones taken from the ruin. There's a small display of archelogical finds up a side lane at the site.
Many of the cases are empty and bear the caption "What should be here was taken to the British museum by thieves".

The colossus is long gone.
It's reputed site at the mouth of the harbour seems improbable.
More likely is the site of the nearby customs house, agora, or on higher ground now occupied by the Grand Master's Palace.

Want a good Valentine's Day present? Don't date a German man as study show they are the stingiest

As far as I can tell, "study" consists of the amounts spent by people from various countries on one jewellery website.

But of course, that is not accounting for those who buy nothing - and don't even send a card

So an overage of about ten shillings then (Malcom's got me doing it now).

Steve and I are on the same wavelength.

1 in 5 Brits don’t know which countries are in the UK (and half think Everest is our highest mountain)

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z1ovlr6ukD

Unmoderated, if you want to point out that those surveyed were probably UKIP supporters and/or Mail readers.

Plenty of predictably cuntish quips in the comments:

Or is that just because 1 in 5 weren't actually born in Britain..?

That's because kids are only taught about political correctness and "global warming" and all it's attendant environmental nonsense rather than facts about the world. I have been genuinely shocked by the political gibberish forced down my kids throats at school.

Shocking if true, Never thought I would see the day when half of my countrymen and women were thick ignorant! Its time to cut the PC RUBBISH TAUGHT BY SOME third rate teachers who are totally out of touch and, get back to basics.

Now, I wonder why they didn't mention which group did the survey?
