The Department of Health said NHS breast reductions were performed on younger girls if they had juvenile gigantomastia (abnormal excessive growth of breast tissue in adolescence), hyperplastic abnormalities (abnormal excessive growth of breast tissue) or giant fibroadeoma (a non-cancerous lump).

Shocking but not surprising when I see obese parents with obese children loading up their trolleys in the supermarket with crisps, fizzy drinks and serious amounts of junk food.

Definitely not on the NHS. These obese girls should be using the two doctors that are totally free: Dr Right Leg and Dr Left Leg!

So the NHS will happily pay for this, yet people who are going blind or dying of cancer through no fault of their own are denied treatment? This country is beyond messed up.

I would suggest everyone reads the last couple of paragraphs first before commenting. The young girls who had this procedure had specific health issues, nothing to do with being obese.
