A thread dedicated to those who take the time to point out than an article is bollocks but gets the Red Arrow for their pains. As obesity soars, girls of 11 are being given breast reduction surgery on NHS
Our old friend Paragraph 19 clearly states that breast reduction has nowt to do with obesity but everything to do with:
The Department of Health said NHS breast reductions were performed on younger girls if they had juvenile gigantomastia (abnormal excessive growth of breast tissue in adolescence), hyperplastic abnormalities (abnormal excessive growth of breast tissue) or giant fibroadeoma (a non-cancerous lump).
Shocking but not surprising when I see obese parents with obese children loading up their trolleys in the supermarket with crisps, fizzy drinks and serious amounts of junk food.

Definitely not on the NHS. These obese girls should be using the two doctors that are totally free: Dr Right Leg and Dr Left Leg!

Better and cheaper and healthier to put them on a sound diet. Absolutely ridiculous.

So the NHS will happily pay for this, yet people who are going blind or dying of cancer through no fault of their own are denied treatment? This country is beyond messed up.

I'm currently getting the RAs for the following
I would suggest everyone reads the last couple of paragraphs first before commenting. The young girls who had this procedure had specific health issues, nothing to do with being obese.
