Why does the console have DVD written across the VCR slot?

Also, padawans, please note the 'triple referencing', as used exclusively for one-off appearances. Hump is depicted reasonably accurately (and by the way, with a realistic nose). Then, just in case we don't get the 'joke', he is named in both the corner paper and in the speech bubble.

Talking of which, the caption. Why does Stephen Rea circa 1990 need 'releasing'? Is he restrained by the two women? Is this some sort of sordid sex game? Is this the first cartoon to be set in the piss dungeon?

I can't work out whether that's meant to be a flat screen TV or an old-fashioned one with the perspective mucked up.

It also appears to be the case that the blonde lady can light up a room with her smile.

Finger on the pulse, PT. Finger on the pulse. Englebert's failure to connect with voters a savage metaphor. An out of touch and mismatched fan base unwttingly or otherwise keep themselves in the dark and chillax while Rome burns. Perhaps PT's most telling indictment is the caption at bottom right, a Warsian plea or a Huntesque statement; such are the subtleties of this towering masterpiece that the speaker of a simple sentence is at once transformed into the very essence of the corrupt malaise at the centre of government, while somehow (and could any other artist pull this off?) speaking for all of us - the little people who don't figure one jot in the machinations of those who foist such undeserved and self-perpetuating mendacity upon us. The subliminal message bottom left a witty reposte to those waiting with glee at the thought of a single currency collapsing. The words 'Euro Hump Flops' cunningly re-arranged and snuck in as the delicious icing on a particularly sumptious cake.

Good attempt by PT at moving into the late 90s with "DVD", but simply writing it on to an old video player is not going to magically make it so.

Couldn't he make a joke about the Euro being as successful as Humperdinck's performance? No?

"You see, nothing good ever comes out of us getting involved with Europe!"

"I'd give the Euro nul points!"

Sure there are lots more we can think of.

That sofa, Jesus. I wonder what PT's house looks like.

At least he's more popular than "Dracula" McBroon.

That went down like an Ed Milliband Performance.

Fewer votes than Sayeeda Warsi.

"Eurovision is the only Euro I like"

Floating Headline: "Spain doesn't want Eurovision". Bloke on settee "And they don't want the Euro either"

"Yet another failure with the word 'Euro' in it"

"The Eurovision is not very good - a bit like the Euro really"

Please can I have a job as PT's script writer?

Judging by how PT uses colour, it probably looks like someone has taken a lot of drugs and tried to decorate with tins of fluorescent paints.

The sun is still going nova. And London is less scrunched up than usual
