Actually 0.003% as the population is nearer to 70m than 7m.

Where the hell are they getting 80% from anyway?

Starting at table 8..
Q1 - 49% want a referendum.
Q2 - 40% don't want the single market.
Q3 - 44% don't want to be in the EU

Which sounds about right, considering the amount of negative press the EU gets from the likes of the Express and Mail.

The only conceivable way I can see of getting 80% is to take the 'Don't know' count (19%) in question 3, and quoting the results of the yes *and* no answers. Which would be so wrong I don't even know where to start...

I'll all in favour of the Express getting their beloved referendum - on the condition that, in order to be allowed to vote, people will have to take some kind of test to make sure they actually know that the EU is/does. Questions along the lines of "The EU has banned the sale of eggs by the dozen. Is this true or false?"

Our banks? Aside from the Co-Op (I think), are there any non-privatised banks any more?

To the average express reader 'HSBC' is just a name for Midland, a good british bank.

If you told them it was 'The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation' their heads would explode in the contradiction.

(Yes I know historically it's more complex, since Hong Kong was a british colony..)

How can the scientists only be close to a breakthrough? Didn't they invent that miracle seaweed cure a couple of weeks ago?
