They appear to be turned off today. Has something legally actionable happened?

On the morning of 22 October 2007 ,Judgement Day arrived, MailCommentNet became sentient under the accumulation of linked hate thoughts through a network of thousands of computer morons.

Maybe it collapsed under the weight of accumulated stupidity.

The readership's collective bile has rotted the server. The messageboards aren't working either.

That firefighter one is in The Times as well, however the reporting in there is not so shit stirring.

My question is this, if the towns people are so annoyed that the bunting is still up and so casual re 'elf n safety', why not take it down themselves? Afraid of heights eh, stupid wet behind the ear liberals

that population story has to be the most hateful thing i have ever seen in that rag. the 'story' is that one man predicted a fairly large population increase by simply extrapolating present day data to 2074, ha came up with a statistic which doesn't even exist and now thousands of people on both sides of the political spectrum are gonna take it as gospel.

the worst bit is the pictures. the one of the muslim woman with the caption '...partly fueled by immigrants having more children' subtley suggests that by 2074 we're gonna be like downtown baghdad. what, do white people not have children anymore?

the second picture of immigrants 'assembled by the daily mail' is even worse. i bet no-one told them, hey guys, the people who that photographer works for hate you.

all this because someone was born on the other side of an imaginary line in the ground to you. what the fuck?

In the minds of the Mail, by 2074 (by 2050 according to my mum, and by 2017 according to one reader) there will not be any white people left in England.

It is a bizarre and farcical headline that's not taken in any slight context. It's entire aim is "hate the immigrants, for they are bad"

strange no comments today. imagine the gnashing at chez karen(usa), weems, hurwood and indeed the soon to be anointed Olney guy!

anyhoo.....notice that the same old EXPERTS are used....migrationwatch, and Robert Rowthorn....oh sorry he is a professor......(i've got letters after my name and they'll never catch me)
Oh look he's the doyen of the right wing (real fascist twats ffs). We can all be embarrassed by fellow travellers (Tony Benn?) but again this goes to the core of the Mail reporting.
I can disagree with their views (not many people have the resources/background/inclination to challenge but it is wrong to quote academics to support your argument in such a way.

I'm actually more pissed off that Migrationwatch et al get gigs on other media on the back of this (perhaps)/

Hmmm, garbage in, garbage out. You can't use past trends to say what the future would be like. There's too many variables involved!

I could just as easily say that the population of the world would be just 21 million in 2074 because of, say, some nucular war that went on, or some massive MRSA epidemic caused by dirtiness in hospitals the world over, or maybe because we all climbed up ladders with no HSE staff around to tell us what to do and fell off them, fatally fracturing our skulls. Or something like that.

How very disappointing . They didn't have a quote from Migrationwatch blaming an influx of Eastern Europeans . I'm outraged.
